RESULTS OF A BOND ELECTION HELD IN
THE SAID CIN ON THE 25TH DAY OF
SEPTEMEER, 1976

CITY OF GRAPEVINE �
WHEREAS, this governing body, by ordinance duly passed and adopted
made provision for an elecfiion to be held in fihis City on the 25th day of September,
1976, for the purpose of submitting certain proposifiions for the issuance of genera{
obligafion bonds to the residenf, qualified electors of the City; and
WHEREAS, fihe returns of said election have been made to this governing
bocly and from an examination of thos� returns, it ap��ars thai° the same was h@{d
in accordance with the avthorizing proceedings and was in al) respects legally
held affier due nofice had been given, and the said refiurns du(y and legally made,
and other instrumenfis, showed the following results:

BE !T ORD�iNED BY THE CITY �OUhJCIL OF THE CITY OF GRRPEVINE:
Section 1. That al) of the recifials contained in the preamble of this ordinance
° are found to be true and are adopted as findings of fact by this governing body and as
. part of its judgment.

$ection 2. It is further found and determined fihat the results of the election
as canvassed and tabulated in the preamble hereof reflect fihe expressed desires of the
resident, qualified electors.
Section 3. That in conformity with law, this goveming body is now authorized
to issue fhe bonds on behalf of said City in the amounts and for th@ purposes menfiioned
in the propositions set fo�-th in the proceedings calling the elecfiion with resp�ct to
propositions numbered 1 through 4,
Section 4. That fhe City Council, as aforesaid, hereby finds that this Ordinance
relates to the immediate preservation of the public peace, hec�lth or safety and is an
emergency measure, the proceeds from the bonds herein authorized being reqvired as
soon as possible and without delay for necessary and urgenfily ne�ded public improvements,
and accordingly this Ordinance shall be and become effecfive immediafiely upon its
adopfiion and execufion.
