Motion seconded by e � Councilman Pittard. Motion prevailed by the following vote: � t � � Ayes : Conine , Tate , Pittard, Dalton, Parker and Pirkle. Noes : None � $ Al Mikusek, architect , was present and discussed the development � criteria for the various city parres . Councilman Parker made a motion to authorize Mr. Mikusek to proceed with the drafting of preliminary � plans for the development of the city owned parks . Motion seconded ` e �-;, � by Councilwoman Conine. Motion prevailed by the following vote: � � Ayes : Dalton, Pittard, Parker, Tate , Conine and Pirkle . � Noes : None € � Terry Irwin of Lone Star Gas Company was present in reference to the � � Gas Company� s rate increase request . As requested at the previous meeting , Mr. Irwin furnished a let-ter from proper authority of his � � company stating that the rate increase request was reduced by 20�, � � resulting a net annual gross revenue increase of 7.5%. Proposed gas ; rate increase ordinance 72-29 was introduced and read. After due � discussion Councilman Parker made a motion to pass said Ordinance 72-29 on first reading . Motion seconded by Councilman Pittard. ! Motion prevailed by the following vote: �� Ayes : Pirkle , Conine , Pittard, Dalton, Tate and Parker. Noes : None � � � ORDINANCE 72-29 � � I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 4, CHAPTER 2 � OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, � TEXAS, SO AS TO FIX AND DETERMINE THE GEN- < � ERAL SERVICfi RATE TO BE CHARGED FOR SALES �; ; � OF NATURAL GAS TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL � , CONSUMERS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY j � OF GRAPEVINE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS , AND � PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER IN WHICH SUCH RRTES I MAY BE CHARGED, ADJUSTED AND AMENDED. � � � � � � � � � � � i i � Perry Hager was present and presented the plans for develop- ment of apartments on his property in the Shady Oaks Addition. Councilman Parker made a motion to approve the said develop- ment plans . Motion seconded by Councilman Pittard. Motion prevai�ed by the following vote: Ayes: Parker, Tate , Pittard, Dalton, Conine & Pirkle. Noes: None � Ordinance 72-26 , adjusting electrical permit fees was read on second reading . Councilman Dalton made a motion to pass Ordinance 72-26 on second reading . Motion seconded by Council- man Tate . Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Tate , Parker, Conine , Da�ton, Pittard and Pirkle. Noes: None ORDINANCE 72-26 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3,. CHAPTER 2, SECTION 6, SUBSECTION 7 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, SO AS TO . PROVIDE FOR SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICAL PERMIT FEE; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. Ordinance 72-27, amending water tap charges was read on second reading . Councilman Dalton made a motion to pass said ordinance on second reading . Motion seconded by Councilwoman Conine. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Dalton, Parker, Conine, Tate , Pirkle and Pittard. Noes: None ORDINANCE 72-27 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, TITLE 7, CI-�.PTER 3, SECTION 7-3-22, TO PROVIDE , FOR A CHARGE OF FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) FOR THE INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION OF A WATER METER UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ' ORDINANCE PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR � A SAVINGS CLAUSE. Ordinance 72-28 , adopting the uniform mechanical code was read on second reading. Councilwoman Conine made a motion to pass said ordinance on second reading . Motion seconded by Council- man Tate . Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes : Tate , Conine, Dalton, Pirkle , Pittard and Parker. j Noes: None ORDINANCE 72-28 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, ; TEXAS, ADOPTING THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, 1970 EDITION. : Rezone Application Z 72-13 on which a public l�earing was held on September 26, 1972, was considered. The request was for a change of zoning from Specific Use Permit for apartments to "C-2" Community Business District on Lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Block 2, Bellaire Addition. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval. Councilman Pittard made a motion to approve the said zoning application and for instructions to be directed to the � � � � � � � � � � � � � � building in�pector to make spec-ial effort �to �nsure that adequate � � screening will be pxovided for on the sides o� the C-2 property ;� that abutts residential property. Motion seconded by Councilman : � Parker. Naes : None ORDINANCE 72-31 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS SO AS TO INCLUDE CHAPTER 8 REGUL,�ATING BUI�NING IN THE CORPQRATE LIMIT� OF THE CITY OF' GRAPEVINE; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE. Bid tabulataons on "South Main and Highway 114 water line extensinn" , and the"Ferris Branch Collector Sewer" extension were reviewed. Councilman Dalton made a motion to accept the law bid of Edarp Corp. irz the amcaunt of $35,823. 14 for the water line . Motion seconded by Councilwoman Cbnine.
