'# Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Dalton gave �
� the invocation. Councilman Dalton made a motion to approve the �
minutes of the previous meetings . Councilman Tate seconded the �
motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: �

Ayes: Dalton , Tate , Conine , Pittard, Parker and Pirkle . �
Noes: None �

= Mr. A. C. Stone was present and spoke to the council about the [
,
� problems he was having with the rifle range near his property and �
" also about c�eer on his property being shot and killed. The mayor
� advised Mr. Stone thatthe city attorney and city council would

make a study of the situation and see what could be done to correct �
the problems . �

' The Zoning Board� s report on Case Z 72-16 on which Millard Dilg
w requested "L-1" Limited Industrial Zoning was read. The Zoning �

Board recommended approval of this request . Councilman Pittard
� made a motion to approve this zoning change . Councilwoman Conine �
� seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: �

� Ayes : Tate , Conine , Pittard, Parker, Pirkle and Dalton . �

� The Zoning Board� s report on Case Z 72-17 was read. Las Colinas ;
Corp. requested Planned Development on a tract of land in the W. i
� Allen Survey on this request. The Planning & Zoning Commission �
� tabled any action on this case until the land owners acquired �
� access ways to the property. The council took no action on this �
�
report . �
�
� The Zoning Board� s report on Case Z 72-18 on which Billy Underwood �
' requested a Specific Use Permit for a concrete batch plant was read. ;
� The Planning & Zoning Board recommended approval of this request. s
� Councilman Parker made a motion to approve this request . Council- �
� man Dalton �econded�he motion. The motion prevailed by the follow- #

� 4, AS THE COUNCIL DEEMS IT NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN �
'� TRAFFIC SAFETY TO PROHIBIT THE PARKING, STANDING,
� OR STOPPING OF VEHICLES ON EAST WORTH STREET AT A
� SPECIFIED LOCATION; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF
i CONFLICTING ORDINANCE PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR
� 1 THE POSTING OF' SIGNS; PROVIDING A PENALTY; PRO- }
VIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND DECLARING AN �
� EMERGENCY.

� The City Manager d�iscussed the need for a 10" water line along
� the north side of Highway 114 between Barton Street and Dove Rd.

Councilman Dalton made a motion that the City Manager be in-
'� structed to take bids on this water line. Councilman Parker
� seconded the motion. The motion prevailed by the following
