� Councilman Dalton was absent .

� Millard Dilg was present and presented plans for a railroad �
; spur to be built along Dawn Lane across E. Dallas Road to the �
Y Ray Wallace property. i

� Councilman Eidson made a motion to grant a permit for the spur !
� to be built Qn the Dawn Lane right of way with the proper .. �
a safety devices installed at the E. Dallas Rd.crossing . �

, Councilmwoman Conine seconded the motion. The motion prevailed �
� by the following vote:

� Mr. Frank Medanich of F'irst Southwest Company presented a bond
payment schedule to the council for their consideration.
� Ordinance 73-6 , an Ordinance Directing Delivery of Certificates
� of Obligation was introduced and read. �
� Councilman Parker made a motion to pass Ordinance 73-6. Council- �
� man Pittard seconded the motion. The motion prevai�ed by the �
� �
� following vote:

� Ordinance 73-7, Rn Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of Refunding '
; Bonds was introduced and read. Councilman Eidson made a motion �
i� to pass Ordinance 73-7. Councilman Tate seconded the motion. �

Mr. Bob Nichols of Freese & Nichols presented plans for an �
; elevated water storage tank to be built on city property on �
; Dove Road. �

; City Manager Ezell gave a report to the council on dues paid by �
� other city government to the Chambers of Commerce in their
� respective cities . �

Councilman Eidson made a motion that the City Manager be �
authorized to negotiate an agreement with the Grapevine Chamber �
; of Commerce for the city� s dues . Councilman Tate seconded the �
; motion. The motion prevailed by the following vote: �

Ayes : Pittard, Tate , Pirkle , Eidson, Parker and Conine. �

Ordinance 73-5, Rn Ordinance Regulating the Discharge of
Industrial Wastes Into the Sanitary Sewers of the City of
Grapevine, Texas Establishing a Permit System, Establishing
a System of Charges for Services Rendered, Regulating Un-
sewered and Miscellaneous Discharges , and Providing for
Enforcement, was read.
; Councilman Eidson made a motion to pass Ordinance 73-5.
Councilman Parker seconded the motion. The motion prevailed
by the following vote:
Ayes: Tate, Pirkle , Eic�.son, Parker, Conine and Pittard.
Noes: None
City Manager Ezell read a letter of resignation f rom Joe S.
Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy had been serving on the Library Board.
Councilman Eidson made a motion to accept the resignation of
Mr. Kennedy and to pass a suitable Resolution expressing
appreciation for the services rendered by Mr. Kennedy.
Councilman Tate seconded the motion. The motion prevailed
by the following vote:
Ayes : Pirkle, Eidson, Parker, Conine, Pittard and Tate.
Noes: None
Councilman Eidson made a motion to permit A. J. Thompson to
continue working past the retirement age of 65 until April
1 ,1973. Councilman Parker seconded the motion. The motion
prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Eidson, Parker, Conine, Pittard, Tate and Pirkle.
