A regular meeting of the Grapevine City Council was held on June 6, 1967.
Members present were Mayor Wood:� and Councilmen Benedict, Huber, Daltoq
and Foust. Councilman Pirkle was absent.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
z� Mr. M.C. Russell was present to request that the City give him a Quit
Claim Deed for a section of dedicated street along the South side of his
Lot 18, Block 5 of the Sky Harber �lddition. No official action was �
taken pending a recommendation from the City pttorney.
97 Attorney Dave Austin was present to discuss being appointed Judr:�
of Corporation Court for the City. Motion by Councilman Dalton,
seconded by Councilman Benedict to appoint Dave Austin fo the office
i of Judge of Corporatiorl Court. Motion carried by a yes vote by Council-
men Benedict, Huber, Dalton and Foust. There were no noes.
��� Motior� by �ounci lmat� Huber, seconded by Counci lman Benediet to pass
resolution R 67-5 requesting urban assistance from the Federal Govern-
met�t through the Texas State Health Departmer�t. Motion carried by a
yes vote by Cour�cilmen Benedict, Huber, Dalton and Foust. There were
no noes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVED THAT the City Council of Grapevine,
C Texas, requests the Texas State Department of Health to arrange for the
� following planning services:
Preparation of a Comprehensive City Plan and to arrange for financial
assistance in the sum of $6, 180.00.
BE IT FURTHER RE�OLVED that the City of Grapevine will make avail-
able upon the request of the Texas 5tate Department of Health the sum
of �3,l�b2.00 to aid in defraying cost of the requested stated planning
servi ce s. ;

i�l Building Permit policies artd fees were discussed. Motion by Council-
man Foust, seconded by Councilmar� Da.lton to adopt the following
policies in regard to securing building permits and inspections:
In order to obtain a permit there are certain basic requirement�
to determine if the proposed construction will meet the Cityts
requirements. They are as follows:

� �� Policies in regard to the lights at the little league bal l field
were dlscussed. It was decided that the Little League Ball Club is
resporlsible for the lights.
A small piece of land possibly owned by the City on Dooley St.
was discussed. It was decided that if, after itivestigatiorl, the
�ity is the owner, the City shoul@ give Mrs. Sue Womack a Quit
Claim Deed to the land. �
