Members present were Mayor Woods and Councilme� Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Dalton and �'oust. A�inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Gary and H.L. Giles were present tb appeal to the Council tl-ie Suilding � Inspector �s rejection of Mr. Gilets foundation construction on . � � Lot 12, Block 9 , Grapevine Lake Estates . It was the Councilts recommendation that further attempts be made with the Insp�ctnr to work out a so?ution tothe problems as outlined by Mr. Gi1es. A Public hearing was held this date for the consideration of 2oning Char�ge requests numbered 66-11 , 66-12, and 66-13. The Planning .�" and Zoning Commission recommended that theCity Cauncil approve these requests. Motion by Councilman Pirkle , seconded by Councilman Foust to rezone R.W. Flowerst lot, Part of lot 35A-1 in the Leonard Survey, from "B" Dwelling District to r��r � rrD" District and to pass Ordinance 67-21 enacting the chanae. Motion carried by a yes vote by C �uncilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, L�.lton and Foust. There were no noes. Motion by �ouncilman Benedict, seconded by Councilman Huber to have a street light placed on Dove Road near the J.R. Bass Property. It v;ras decided that �' the City should go ahead and get firm bids on the project. � Policies regarding operation af the City Jail were discussed. Motion byCouncilman Benedict, seconednd by Cour�cilman Foust that persons in or placed in jail after midnight v�� ll not be rele��ad until � 8:00 A.M. the r:ext morning, except for juveniles.
