AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE BY AMENDING SECTION 7-2-2 RELATING
TO SEWER RATES BY ESTABLISHING A NEW RANGE OF
RATES FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES;

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
SECTION l, That Section 7-2-2 of the City Code of the City of
Grapevine is hereby amended to read as follows:
"7-2-2: Rates: There is hereby levied and shall be collected
monthly from every customer of the sewerage system of the
City, a service charge for the use of such sewerage system,
which cha rge sha 11 be determined a s follow s:
Residential Service:
Customer uses water up to:

in excess of 30, 000 gallons of water, there will be a charge of
$00. 05 per thousand gallons, "
SECTION 2. The fact that the present ordinances and regulations of
the City of Grapevine are inadequate to protect its citiznes within the corporate
limits of the City of Grapevine, creates an emergency for the immediate
preservation of the public business, property, health, safety and general welfare

of the public which requires that this ordinance shall become effective from and
�, after the date of its passage as provided by the Charter of the City of Grapevine
and it is accordingly so ordained,
