AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 2, OF
THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, BY ADDING
STOP SIGNS AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING
A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
�,.., SECTION l. The City Code of Grapevine, Texas, Title 9, Chapter 2,
5ection 2, is hereby amended by adding Stop Signs at certain locations
described herein:

l. On the East side of Peach Street at its intersection with
Scribner Street.
2. On the West side of Peach Street at its intersection with
Scribnar Street.
3 . On the North side of Scribner Street at its intersection
of Peach Street.
4. On the South side of Scribner Street at its intersection
of Peach Street.
5. On Oak Creek Crive at Shady Brook Drive.
6. On Ravenswood Drive at Shady Brook Drive.
7. On Meadowbrook Drive at Shady Brook Drive.
8. On Shady Brook Drive at Lucas Drive.
SECTION 2. If any section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph, or
provisions of this ordinance or the application of that section, sentence,
phrase, word, paragraph, or provision to any person, situation or
circumstances is for any reason adjudged invalid, the adjudication shall
not affect any other section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph or
�-� provision of this ordinance or the application of any other section,
sentence, phrase, word, paragraph or provision to any other person,
� situation or circumstances, nor shall such adjudication affect any
other section, sentence, phrase, word, paragraph or provision of the
Grapevine City Code. The City Council declares that it would have
adopted the valid portions and applications of this ordinance without
the invalid part, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
SECTION 3. A person, firm or corporation violating the terms and
provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guity of a misdemeanor, and
shall be fined not less than One Dollar ($1.00) nor more than Two
Hundred Dollars ($200.00) .
SECTION 4. The fact that the present ordinances and regulations of
the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to properly safeguard the
health, safety, morals, peace, and general welfare of the inhabitants
of the City of Grapevine, Texas, creates an emergency for the immediate
preservation of public business, property, health, safety, and general
welfare of the public which requires that this ordinance shall become
effective from and after the date of its passage and it is accordingly
