""" . We, the undersigned officers of said City, hereby certify
as follows :
60. 1. The City Council of said City convened in
REGULAR MEETING ON THE 7TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1967,
at the City Hall, and the roll was called of the duly constituted
officers and members of said City Council, to-wit:
James L. Hancock, City Secretary Ira E. Woods, Mayor
Doil E. Dalton Herbert E. Huber
J. E. Foust, Jr. Guy S. Benedict
Willis Pirkle
and all of said persons were present, except the following
absentees :
thus constituting a quorum. Whereupon, among other business,
the following was transacted at said Meeting: a written
RESOLUTION CALLING AN ELECTION
was duly introduced for the consideration of said City Council
and read in full. It was then duly moved and seconded that said
Resolution be adopted;and, after due discussion, said motion,
carrying with it the adoption of said Resolution prevailed and
carried by the following vote:
AYES : All members of said City Council
shown present above voted "Aye".
NAYS: None.
2. That a true, full and correct copy of the aforesaid Res-
olution adopted at the Meeting described in the above and fore-
going paragraph is attached to and follows this Certificate;
that said Resolution has been duly recorded in said City Council's
minutes of said Meeting; that the above and foregoing paragraph
is a true, full and correct excerpt from said City Council' s
minutes of said Meeting pertaining to the adoption of said Reso-
lution that the persons named in the above and foregoing paragraph
are the duly chosen, qualified and acting officers and members of
said City Council as indicated therein; that each of the officers
and members of said City Council was duly and sufficiently noti-
fied officially and personally in advance, of the time, place and
purpose of the aforesaid Meeting, and that said Resolution would
be introduced and considered for adoption at said Meeting, and each
of said officers and members consented, in advance, to the holding
of said Meeting for such purpose; and that said Meeting was open
r- to the public as required by law.
3. That the Mayor of said City has approved, and hereby
approves , the aforesaid Resolution; that the Mayor and the City
Secretary of said City have duly signed saidResolution and that
the Mayor and the City Secretary of said City hereby declare that
their signing of this Certificate shall constitute the signing of
the attached and following copy of saidResolution for all purposes .

RESOLUTION NO. 67-8
RESOLUTION CALLING AN ELECTION
THE STATE OF TEXAS •
COUNTY OF TARRANT •
CITY OF GRAPEVINE •
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City deems it advisable
ii`"'' to issue the bonds of said City for the purposes hereinafter stated.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
1. That an election shall be held in said City on the
5th Day of December, 1967 , at the Fire Station, Corner of Main and
Texas Streets . Said City shall constitute a single Election Precinct
for said election, and the following election officers are hereby
appointed to hold said election at the aforesaid Polling Place:
W. K. Stewart, Presiding Judge, and
Mrs . C . W. Goad, Alternate Presiding Judge.
The Presiding Judge shall appoint not less than two nor
more than four qualified election clerks to serve and assist in
conducting said election; provided that if the Presiding Judge
named above actually serves at said election as expected, then the
Alternate Presiding Judge shall be one of such clerks .
By approving and signing this Resolution the Mayor of
said City officially confirms his appointment of the aforesaid
election officers to serve at said e,;_ection; and by adopting this
Resolution the City Council of said City approves and concurs in the
appointment of the aforesaid election officers ,
2 . That at said election the following PROPOSITIONS shall
be submitted in accordance with law:
PROPOSITION NO. 1
Shall the City Council of said City be authorized
to issue the bonds of said City, in one or more series
or issues , in the aggregate principal amount of $300,000,
with the bonds of each such series or issue, respectively,
to mature serially within not to exceed 40 years from
their date, and to bear interest at rates not to exceed
6% per annum, for the purpose of improving and extending
said City' s Waterworks System, with said bonds to be
secured by and payable from a lien on and pledge of the
Net Revenues of said City' s Waterworks and Sewer System?

PROPOSITION NO 2
Shall the City Council of said City be authorized
to issue the bonds of said City , in one or more series
or issues , in the aggregate principal amount of $100,000,
with the bonds of each such series or issue, respectively,
to mature serially within not to exceed 40 years from
their date , and to bear interest at rates not to exceed
6% per annum, for the purpose of improving and extending
said City ' s Sewer System, with said bonds to be secured
by and payable from a lien on and pledge of the Net
Revenues of said City' s Waterworks and Sewer System?
PROPOSITION NO. 3
Shall the City Council of said City be authorized
to issue the bonds of said City, in one or more series
or issues , in the aggregate principal amount of $150,000
with the bonds of each such series or issue, respectively,
to mature serially in not to exceed 40 years from their
date, and to bear interest at rates not to exceed 6% per
annum, for the purpose of improving and extending said
City' s Waterworks System; and shall said City Council be
authorized to levy and cause to be assessed and collected
annualad valorem taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the
annual interest on said bonds and provide a sinking fund
to pay said bonds at maturity?
PROPOSITION NO. 4

Shall the City Council of said City be authorized
to issue the bonds of said City, in one or more series
or issues , in the aggregate principal amount of $300,000,
with the bonds of each such series or issue, respectively,
to mature serially in not to exceed 40 years from their
date, and to bear interest at rates not to exceed 6% per
annum, for the purpose of improving and extending said
City ' s Sewer System; and shall said City Council be
authorized to levy and cause to be assessed and collected
annual ad valorem taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the
annual interest on said bonds and provide a sinking fund
to pay said bonds at maturity?
PROPOSITION NO. 5
Shall the City Council of said City be authorized
to issue the bonds of said City, in one or more series
or issues , in the aggregate principal amount of $50,000,
�..`. with the bonds of each such series or issue, respectively,
to mature serially in not to exceed 40 years from their
date, and to bear interest at rates not to exceed 6% per
annum, for the purpose of improving land for park pur-
poses ; and shall said City Council be authorized to levy
and cause to be assessed and collected annual ad valorem
taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the annual interest
on said bonds and provide a sinking fund to pay said bonds
at maturity?
3 . That the official ballots for said election shall be
prepared in accordance with the Texas Election Code so as to permit
the electors to vote "FOR" or "AGAINST" the aforesaid PROPOSITIONS,
which shall be set forth in substantially the following form:

4. That only resident, qualified electors who own taxable
property in said City and who have duly rendered the same for tax-
ation shall be entitled to vote at said election.
5. That notice of said election shall be given by posting
a substantial copy of this Resolution at the City Hall and at two
other places in said City, not less than 15 days prior to the date
set for said election; and a substantial copy of this Resolution
also shall be published on the same day in each of two successive
weeks in a newspaper of general circulation published in said City,
the date of the first publication to be not less than 14 days prior
to the date set for said election.
