Whereas, the City Council is desireous of making the City of
Grapevine a safer place in which to live and travel and,
Whereas, there is an ever increasing need for certain traffic
control devices at certain intersections within the corporate
limits, and,
Whereas, much study and thought has been given to these problems
by the City Council,
NON THEREFORE 3E IT RESOLVED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Stop signs be errected at the following intersections
to indicate that a full stop must be made before proceeding into
or through the intersections:
A. Stop on the East side of Ball Street at its intersection
with West Wall.
B. Stop on the West side of North Dooley Street at its
intersection with State Highway 114.
C. Stop on the South side of Hudgins Street with its
intersection with S. Church Street.
D. Stop on the East side of Smith Street with its intersection
with East Wall Street.
E. Stop on the East side of Ridge Road with its intersection
with '-vest Wall Street.
F. Stop on the East and West side of Nash Street with its
intersection with Bellaire Dr.
Section 2. The authority for the errection of the foregoing
signs and the enforcement of the regulations therein represented
has been vested in the City Council by the City of Grapevine ,
Ordinance No. 54-8 passed and approved the 2nd day of March , 1954.
Section 3. This resolution, not being a penal ordinance in it-
self, need not be published to be effective and is effective up-
on the passage by the City Council and the errection of the afore-
mentioned signs.
