Lawrence Deering requested � a Specific Use Permit for Used Car Lot on Lot 49B1 of the � Leonard Survey. Persons present were given an opportunity � to be heard. Chairman Harlen Joyce informed persons present = that they will be notified of the action taken. � � s. Application 69-7 was considered. Henry V. Tate requested � r'C & D" Multiple Dwelling District on his Tract 13 in the � Leonard Survey. Persons present were given an opportunity � k � to be heard. City Manager Floy Ezell administered the oath of office to Mayor elect Dr. Ira Woods and �ouncilmen elect Doil Dalton and Tommy Eidson. Resolution R69-9, expressing commendation and appreciation for the untiring and valuable service rendered to the City of Grapevine by Mr. Herbert E. Huber as Councilman for the past six years was introduced and read in full. Councilman Pirkle made a MOTION to pass said resolution. Motion SECONDED by Councilman Dalton. Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: € � Ayes: Councilmen Thompson, Pixkle, Eidson, Dalton and Benedict. ; Noes : None i Said Resolution is on file in the City Resolution Book. � The request of the Church of Chris t for the City to participate in the cost of storm sewering or rerouting siarface water drain- age from or through the Church property on College Street was � considered. It was the Council' s opinion that the City could G ; not participate in the cost of this request. ( � The corrected plat and the construction plans for water, sewer, � and streets for Brookhollow Estates , Second Section �ve�e � considered. Councilman Pirkle made a MOTION to approve said % corrected final plat and construction plans , both subject to � the City Engineers approval. Motion SECONDED by Councilman � Dalton. Noes: None i � Annexation Ordinance 69-14 was read on second and final reading. ` Councilman Thompson made a MOTION to pass said Ordinance on z s second and final reading. Councilman Pirkle made a MOTION to set " up a street department consisting of three men and to take � bids on a tractor and mower. Motion SECONDED by Councilman � Dalton. Motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Eidson, Benedict, Pirkle , Dalton & Thompson. �' Noes : None � p Councilman Pirkle made a MOTION to establish the job position � of Street Superintendent at a salary of $520.00 per month � and to set the rate of pay for two street department employees � at $375.00 per month. Councilman Dalton made a MOTION to approve the recommendatinn of the Planning and Zoning Commission on rezone application 69-8, on which R. E.
