A regular meeting of tize Grapevine City Council was held on Feb-
ruary 21, 1967. Members present were Mayor Woods and Council-
men Benedict, Pirkle , Huber, Dalton and Foust.
The invocation was given by Councilman Benedict.
The Minutes of tn.e previous meeting were read and approved.
020 Leon Lewis was present to represent the Grapevine Litt?e League
Ball Club in their request that the City pay the Little Leagu�
Light Bi11 this summer. MOTION by Councilman Benedict, seconded
by Councilman Foust to pay the Little League Ball Park Light bill
for the summer of 1967, Motion carried by a yes vote by Cour�cil-
mer�Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Dalton and Foust. There were na noes.
056 City Manager Floy Ezell presented Mr. C. L. Chamberts request
that he get the Councilts openion on a trailer park on his lar�d `

in the Dove North Area. The Couc�cil Asked City Manager Eze11 to
' discourage Mr. Chambers on th� trailer park as residents in that
area have expressed nor� approvel of this type of land use.
155 Future Highway developement as a result of the proposed inter-
national airport was discussed.
211 P1Iayor Woods appointed Councilman Pirkle and Councilmar� Foust as
a committee to talk to some of the land owners contiguous to
the �ity limits about volunteering to annex their land into the
City.
311 MOTION by Councilman Pirkle, secor�ded by Councman Benedict to
Curb and gutter City properties at intersection of Main ar�d Hug-
gins, arld ort Barton Street. Motio� carried by a yes vote by
Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber, Dalton and Foust. There
were no noes.
3C�.1 City Martager Floy Ezell reported the City Engineers estimate
that the Church Street project would cost approximately $�10,000.00.
58p The Council decided that the City will install the culvert across
West College St . instead of cor�tracting it out.
