Councilmen Huber and Parker beinq absent . 'fic. Minutes of the previous meetinos was read and approv2d as read. Mr . Marvin Nichols of Free2e, Nichols and Endress, Consulting Engineers of Fort Vlorth discussed the water and sewer systems and the requirements of the city in wat�r needs in the next few years by giving some of information he had on the safe yield of Lake Grapevine in supplying the City with water and also in his opinion that the City of Gr�oevine may be asked to furnish 'Nater and sewer service to the new proposed Airport East of town. Nichols recommended that the City of Grapevine take Dallas up on their offer that they would furnsih the City water at .07s� per thousand gallons above 1�00,000 gallons .per day. A letter from the Poli:ce Crime Laboratory, Police Department , City of Fort 'North was read to the council on the rzsult of a polyqraph test that Officer Jim Barnett took voluntarly in reference to the charaes that had beEn made against him by Mr. T. �. Turner. The polyoraph test showed that �.�r. Barnett was telling the tru,th when he deni2d having anyt�ing to do with the charyes that P�Zr, Turner accused him of. �CX�i��£�CX�X3�X An arti- c12 was to be put in the papers informing the public of the eharges that had been made against him and that the city had taken all steps available to them to determine if P��?r. Barnett was innocent of the chargas. A motion by Councilman Benedict, seconded by Councilman Pirkle to lay the proposed 6" water line down Turner Street as ��ta►��a��. per plans. nl�otion carried by Councilmen Vandeventer, Pirk�e and Benedict vot3nq yes with no noes. The closing and abanding the alley on th� west side of Barton street running Last and �dest and lying between West !�.'all street and West NW I�-�wy, the al ley bei ng 12 � x 2?�0 � , The Counci 1 agreed to sell the alley for the same price per square foot as the adjacent land sells for on eith�r side. In reviewing the plans of the Catholic Church for adding to their existing build�ng they would have Lo comply with the , secqndary Fire Zone requirement if they are within 150 foot of the �ast NN Hwy.
