The meeting xas called order and ae��o�arn�ed so as to cenvene �t the Eivic Center
so the Public Hearing could be held on the proposed annezation of Aacid Pc�ni�uula
Grapevine Iake Estates and Lake P'orest Addition and the aci�ac�r►t area. Mr. Tom
Cave, Attorney, re�presenting some of the people of these areas spoke to the ,�; ?
council in protest to the proposed annexation� also several citizens of the ; ��'�`
area spoke in prot�st to the proposed annexation. The meeting was a�ed '������`�`'�
so as to con�ene at the City Ha11 after every person had the opp�nrtunity to
speak. Mr. Cave presented and filed with the City a petition opposing the
annex��fon of the abc►ve area deseribed. -
The meeting convened at the �Lty Ha].1 and the minutes of the previous cx,uncil
meeting was read and approved as read.
The Zoni.ng Board recommended that the 156.62 acres vf land belonging to Mr.
Joe Box�yalong E. Dallas Road and Minter� Chape7.. R aod be rezoned f�om "A" to
"J-K" I dnstrial.
A motfon by Conncilnaa Benedict, seconded by Col�cilman Pirkle ta receive the
zoning boarda recoami�idation. Motinn carried by Conncilmen Vandeventer, Huber,
Pirkle and Benedict�wt�g yes �rith no noes.
Th� Mayor and �ity Conncilmen canv�ased the �rete count of the City IIection
JUdge. as per la�v reqnired.

City Election Resulta by Resolution Rb6-3. With th�ollo�ring officials
elected: J. E. Foust, Jr. Elebted to Place #3, '�Y S. Benedict to �tace #!�,
Willis PirI�e to Place #5. Complete Resolutinn on file in the City of
f�rapevine's Ordinance Books. Motion carried by Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle,
� Hnber, and Vandefa�ter voting yes with no noes.
A motion by tbnncilman Vandeventer, Seconded by Conncilman Huber to aecept and
adopt the annex�ation petitionscf Mr. Pa�l Verburgwith Ordinance No. 66-6,
and aleo Alg�a Dave].opznent Corp and Mr. Paul Gentry�s tract of land by Ordinance '
No. 66-7. Motion carried by Councilman Hnber, Vandeventer, Pirkle and Bariedict
voting yes xith no noes.

zoning boards recommendation on replatting Lot 2A in Bloc� 38 of the 4rapeviiie
Su rvey a�nd to approne the replatting of the lot 2A in Block 38 as per plat
on fiib i1 City Secretary�s offic�. MQtion carried by Councilmsn Benedict,
Pirkle, Huber and Vandeve�nter voting qes �r3.th no noes. .
A motion by ���� pirkle, sevonded by Councilman Huber to accept the
Zoning Boards recommendation on the proposed street to be added in Manos
Oaks Addition, and to approve the propesed location of the street in Manor '
Oaks addition. Motion carried by Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber and
Vandeventer voting yes with no noes.
