2hat Title '7 of the City Cade t�:E the City of Grapevine is here-
by amended to include Chapter 8 as fal].ows:
"7-8-1: BURNING: It shall be unlawful for any person,
knowingly, t4 ignite and burn, or ta knawingly cause to be
ignited and burned, any trash, limbs , �.eaves, debris , or other
co�nbustible material, upon any premises �+rithin the Corporate
Limits af the City except in strict compliance with the follow-
ing provisic�ns.
(A) Trash, limbs or other combustible materials may be bu.rned
in residential districts of such eity only in an incinerator of
a type approved by the Fire Marshal of the City.
(B) No tra�h, limb� or other cambustible rnatter, sha].1 be
burned, whether within an approved incineratar or without,
within twenty five feet (2S� ) of any buildi.ng, nor shall any
fire be set or burning dc�ne of trash or cam'bustible materials
upon any street or sidewaik in the City or within twenty fzve
�* feet (25� ) of any dediCated street.

� No burning of trash or other ccambu�tible materials, shall be
dc�ne in the City o�Y any lot abutting on Main Street from its
a.ntersectiox� with Dallas Road, alon:c� its length, to the inter-
section of Main Street with the Northwest Highway, and no
burning of any trash, ar other combustible material shall be
dane upan arzy ic�t abutting upon Northwest Highway from its
a.ntersection with I�ove Road to the east junctiran of State High-
ways Nos . 121 and 114.
'7-8-2: PENALTY: Any persan violating any provisions
of this Chapter shall be deemed �uilty of a misdemeanor and
shall be punished upon conviction by a fine nat ta exc�ed two
hundred dollars ($240.00!) . (Ord. S'7-19; i2-3-S?�

Should any part, sectian, paragr�gh, sentence, clause ar phra�e
contained in this ardinance be held to be unconstitutional,
suCh holdiT2g shall nc3t affect �he validity of the remainin9
portion of the ardinance, but in a].l respect shall remain in
full foxce and effect.
