Th� City Cout�cil met in regular session on the above date those
pr�sent were Mayor Woods, Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle, Huber,
Vand�venter and Fots t. �
The minuetes of the previous meeting was read and approved as read.
Sealed bids were received from the following compani�s on two
heavy duty, non-clog, close coupled, dry pit type sewage pumps�
having a capacity of 50 GPM against a total head of 40 fe�t.
Pump speed shall not �xceed 1800 RPM:

A motion by Councilman Vandevet�ter, �econded by Councilman Benedict
to defer these bids to Fresse, Nichols and Endress, Consulting
Engineers for their recommendatioris. Motion carried by Councilman
Benedict, Huber, Vandeventer and Foust voting yes with no noes.
A petition by Mr. & Mrs B�� 5idney Lee Ma.ssey was submitted to
the City Council for ann�xatiqn of their 16 acras of land that is
ad,jacec�t at�d cot�tiguous to th� City. `�-.

A motior� by Conncilman FB�st to annex Mr. and Mrs S. L. Massey�s 7 � '
16 acr�s of land in the I�enry Suggs Survey. Motion carried by �
Councilmen Foust, Va�deventer, Huber and Benedi�t voting yes with

A letter from Brady, Drake and Wilson, attorne�rs and counselors,
suggesting that if their firm establishes an office here in Grapevine
they would like to act as the Citys Attorneys and submitted a
proposal.

The rezor�ir�g request of Texas Bitulithic Co. for a part of Tract
5A in The A. Foster Survey to be rezoned from "At' R�s3dential to
"J-K" Industrial. was discussed with �3�� Mr. Owens, Manager of
Texas Bitulithic Co.

A motion by Couqci2man Pirkl�, �econded by Counci �man Beqedict to
pay the Sanitation employees by the month, with the fore�a� being( T. Scott)
paid �39�.0� per manth a�d R. T. Hubbard at �350.0� per month and
the n�her ma� would start less that Hubbard is now making �ow. M�tio�
carried by Councilma� R� F�ust, Va�dev�nter, Huber, Pirk�e a�d
Benedict voti�g yes with no noes.
Council instructed their represe�tatives of the Northeast Cities
Advis�ry Counci2 to participate anly in the cost of the water study
as was agreed upQn 3� th� amvunt of $370.00 in the city=s 2etter
dated May 5, 1966 t� Mr. J. F. Parsell.

The remaining portion of the meeeting was devoted to study and work
