The City �auncil met in reaular session an the above date. ;
Those present were Mayor Woods, �ouncilmen Vandeventer, Huber,
Benedict, and Pirkle. Councilman Foust was absent. ;
The minutes of the twa previous meetings ivere read azad approved.
The Planning anci Zanin�; Board held a public hearing ��aa-��e��r•C
with the Cauncil meeting for the consideration �if three appli- �
cations for ammendments o£ property 2oning.
an app2icatian # bb-14 Carl. Mitchell requested t�ze West 70' x
104' partion of tract 49-B in the Leonard Survey be rezoned from
"G" Lgca1 Business to "Ht� Central Business. The Board recommended
the Council to conditionall.y approve the request with the ex-
ceptian being Skating Rink and Galvanizing Plant. The Council
approved the request as recommended on a motion by Cauncilman
Pirkle and second by Cc�uncilman Vandeventer with Caunciemen
Benedict, PirkJ.e , Huc�er and Vande�enter. voting yes. There were

On application # 66- 15 Max Meinen and Wife requested "J-Y."
Industriai Zoning in place of the �'A" Residental zoning on 1q0
Acres of land in the Bradf ord Survey. The Planning and Zoning
Board recommended �o approve the request, The �ity Council
approved the r�quest as recomrnended on a motican by �ounc.�lman
Pirkle and a second by Gouneilman Benedict with Councilmen
Pirkle , Huber, Benedict and Vendeventer votin� yes and na no

On application # 6Fi-16 Nred Hoyt, 1012 E. Dallas Rd. , requested
appra�imately 62 acres af his land in the BBB & CRR Survey to
be .rezo��ed from "A" Residential to "J-K" Industrial. The �'lann-
3ng Board delayed action on thes application until further in-
formation couldSbe,�, abt�ixaed about the proposed business t'or this
site. The City�w`a�i�structed to cQntact the Health Department
for in£armation on air polution from asphalt plants.
Councilman Huber motioned to pass a resolution autharizing the
City Secretary and the Mayor, or Mayor Pro-tem ta sign checks
in ct�nnection with tt�e disbursement of �ity funds. Motion seconded
by Councilman Benedict and carried on a yes vate from Councilmen
Huber, Vandeventer, Pirkle , and Benedict with no no votes.

Councilman �'irkle motioned to approve �he Pine Street constructian
project and ta issue payment to the contractar as recammended by
Freese , Nichols, and Endress, Consulting Engineers. Motion seconded
by Councilman Vandeventer with Councilmen Benedict, Huber, Pirkle,
and Vandeventer voting yes and no no votes.
The Council discussed temporary raw water facilities for use while
the Corps of En�,ineers repair the 30}' conduit we are now using tor
withdrawei of raw water from the lake. A11 �ouncilmen were of the
openion that the City should find the most economical and the best
way for the City. Nc� further business, meetir�g adjourned.
