above date. Those present were Mayor Waods and Counci2men;
= Benedict, Pirkle , Huher, Vandeventer, and Foust.

Motion carried by Cauncil�nen Pirkle, Hulaer , Foust, Vendeventer
and Benedict. There were nc� no votes.
After discussion the Council decided not to repeal or arnend
the City's present ordinance concerning Pool Ha1 ls in the City.
The Planning And Zoning Board held a public hearing with the
Cauncil for the Consideration of two applications for ammendments
af praperty zoning. -
Cn application Number 66-18, E.L. and N�.L. Lancaster requested
"C & D" Dwelling Zoning an Parcels 8-d, 8-e, & 8-a of the Faster
Survey, which nov,r carries 'tA" Residental zoning. The I'lanning
and 2canin,; Baard recommended to issue a conditional permit to
construct a H4spital, Dental and h�edica2 offices, and Clinics
on the land �outh of West College Street, West of Blue Bonnet
Drive if extender� South from West College , and West to State
Hizihway 114. The Council ap��roved the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Board c�n a motion by c:auncilman Pirkle a;id
a second by CQUncilman Fous� and a yes vote by Councilmen
Pirkle, �oust Uandeventer Hut�er atid Pixkle, There were no no
vOteS.
�n application Number b6-17, Melvin B. Shuler requested '�J-K='
Industrial Zoning for 301.34 acres of land in the B,radfnrd
Survey in place of the "'A't Residential it naw carries. The
Pl.a.nning and Zoning E3oard recommended ta a��prove the reque�t.
The Council approved the Plannin� and Zanin�; Board recammendation
� an a motion by Councilm an Benedict and a second by �;ouhcilman
Firkle , and a yes vote by Counc3.emen•, Foust , Vandeventer,
Pirkle , Huber and Benedict. There were na na Votes.
A Public hearing was held on the proposed 1966-1967 City Budget.
A motion by Councilman Huber seconded by Councilman Foust to '
pass Ordinance Number 66-27, adopting the proposed City �3udget.

Motiori c�.rried by a yes vote by Councilmen Huber, Foust,
Vandeventer, Pirkle , and I3enedic_t. There were no noes.
A Plat of the Corbin Trailer Park was presented to the Council.
Councilman Benedict motioned not to approve the plat as submitted,
and that Mr. Corbin should submit a plat as the park is now
occupied. Nlotion seconded by Councilman Pirkle , and passed by
a yes vote by Councilmen Foust, Vandeventer, Huber, Pirkle ,
and Benedict. There were no noes.
A motion by Councilman Pirkle and seconded by Co�ncilman Benedict
� to }3i11 Mr. H.C. Fulps for one half of the Curb and gutterplaced
along his property at Airline �rive at Vine Stre�t. Motion
carried by a yes vote by Councilmen Huber , Foust, Pirkle , Benedict ,
and Vandeventer. There were no no noes.
City Man ager Ezell is to request the General manager of the
Telephone Company to be at the next Council meeting of September
20, 1966.
Mayor Woods appointed Councilmen Huber, Benedict, and Foust ,
with Foust as chairman, to make a study of emergency ambulance
service for the Grapevine area.
A motion by Councilman Benedict seconded by Councilman Pirkle
to engage the services of Parish and Murrell, Certified Public
Accountants, to make the annusl audit of the City Books.
Motion carried by a yes vote by Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle ,
Huber, Foust and Vandeventer. There were no noes.
A motion by Councilman Benedict, seconded by l:ouncilman Huber
to have street lights installed at corner of Vine and South Main,
East Dallas Road an d Dawn, and relocate the one on Airline Drive
just north of Vine Stre¢�t to corner of Vine and Airline. Motion
carried by a yes vote by Councilmen Benedict, Pirkle , roust,
Vandeventer, and Huber. T'here were no noes.
Before issuing a Building permit to Llectro Coatings Inc. , the
Council is to receive a letter from the County and State Health
Departments stating that the Company' s sewer effluent, consisting
of chromic acid content, sh all meet the requirements of the
County and State Health �epartments before releasing it into
the City Sanitary sewer collection system, which, after treatment, ;
is released into the source of the City water supply.
