Dear Sirs:
Please accept this as my resignatioq as Police Chief for the
City of Grapevine. The reason for this decision is for the
bettermentt of the Cityts Po13ce Department. As the demands
are ever ircreasing for persors in police work to be better
educated and especially in the positior of Ch.f', I feel that
my formal education is limited and irt the best interest of the
City of Grapevine I am submitting my resignation. Although
I wouid like to remain in the department as I am interested
in the City, Department and this is my home.
5irlcerely yours,
