A regular meeting of the Grapevine City Council was held on
November 1, 1966. Those present were Mayor Woods and Council-
men �irkle , H uber, �alton an d roust.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mayor Woods reported to the Council that he reached an agree-
ment with the Contractor for an extention of the guarantee
on the construction of Dawn Lane and the West portion of Easy
Street.
The Annexation Petition or H ubert A and wife Roberta N. Hott
was considered.
MOTION by Councilman Foust to adopt Hnnexation Ordinance 66-35
which is captioned as follows:

Motioned seconded by Councilman Dalton and passed by a yes vote
by Councilmen Pirkle , H uber, Dalton and Foust. There were no noees.
Discussion was given �►n the oversizing of water and sewer lines
and�'College Street. It was decided th at City Manager Floy Ezell
should get the openion of the City's Consulting Engineers before
taking official action on the matter.
Bids on the City' s annual Gasoline requirement were reviewed.
MOTION by Councilman r'oust to accept the low bid of Sinclair
�tefining Lompany. Motion seconded by Councilman 1'izkle and
passed by a yes vote by Councilmen Pirkle , H uber, Dalton and Foust.
There �rere no noes.
The Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing on this date
for the consideration of .Applications for Ammendments to the
Zoning Map.
Application 66-20
Th� Pl�an�ing and ` Zoning' �oard Recommended th at the Council approve
the request that Lots 9, 10, and il in Block 109 of the College
Heights Addition be rezoned to C & �➢ Multiple Dwelling from
"A'+ Residental. MOTION by Councilman Pirkle to accept the reco-
mmendation of the �"lanning an d Zoning Board and approve the
request on Application 66-20 Motion seconded by Councilman Foust
and passed by a yes vote by Councilmen Pirlcle , Huber, �3alton
and Foust. There were no noes • Per Ordina nce 66-35A.
Application 66-21
The P2anning and Zoning Board recommended that the Gauncil approve
the reqnest that Lat 2-B in the BBB & CRR Survey be rezoned to "G"
Lvcal Business District from "A" Residental Dwel.ling District.
MOTION by Councilman Dalton ta accept the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning 13oard and approve the request or� Application
66-21. Motion seconded by Councilman Pirkle and passed by a yes
vote by Councilman Pirkle , H uber, Dalton and Foust. There were
no noes.

The Planning and Zoning Board recommended that the Council approve
the request of Fred H oytt that his 6.82 acres of the BBB & CRR
Survey alc�ng Msnters Chapel Road be rezoned to ",J"-:'K" Industrial
District from t'Ar: Residental �istrict. MOTION by Councilman Foust
to approve the request Qn Application 66-22, Motion seconded by
Councilman Huber and passe by a yes vote by Louncilmen Pirkle,
H uber, Dalton and �oust. �ere weze no noes.
Application 66-23
The Plazaning and Zoning Board recommended that the Council �is-
approve the request that Lat 30-B in the Leonard Survey be rezoned
to "H'r Central Busines� Ds��trict from "gt' Residental �istrict.
MOTTON by Councilman Pirkle to accept the recommendation of the
Planning an d Zoning Board and decline the request made on Appli-
cata,on 66-23. Motion seconded by Gouncilman Dalton and passed
by a yes vote by Councilmen Pirkle , Huber, Daltc�n and �`oust.
Th�re were no noes.
MOTION by Gouncilman Pirkle to authorize Gity Manaaer Ezell to
sell the East 50 feet af Lot 4 in Block 2 of the Hilltap Additio�.
Motion seconded by Councilman Dalton and passed bq a yes vote by
Councilmen Pirkle, H uber, Dalton and Paust. There were no naes.
�fter investigation by the Police Department the Council decided
not tc� endorse the Patra2 and Guard Service flffered by tYae County
Patrol, a private enterprise. Q �
