j i The City �vuncil met in regular sessimn on the above date those
� present were Mayor Woods, Aldermen Parker, Vandeventer, Huber,
Pirtle and Benedict.
Minutes of the previous meeting was read and appr�ved as read.
The Amendment 65-1 to the Street Ordianence 60-18 wasc� scussed
by several citizens and the cQUncil .
A motion by Alderman Benedict, second�d by Alderman Vandevent�r
tm require each fireman to make a 25� af all fires and to attend
40X af all dril�s in a one year period. This is the sa�ae requirement
that the state makes of each fireman to qualify f�r the Firements
R�tirement �r�+gram. Met�n carried by Alderman Benedict, Pirkle,
Huber, Vandeventer and Parker av oting yes with no noes.
A motion by Alderman Pirkle, seconded by Alderman Parker to approve
the replatting af Lots 5 and 5A in Blcck 6 of the Lucas Addition
as per pl�t submitted, the plat i�s on file in the City Secr�taryfs
office, Motion carried by Aldermen Parker, Vandeventer , Huber,
Pirkle and ��c�edict voting yes with no noes.
A motian by Alderman Pirkle , seconded by Alderman Huber ta adopt
� and pass R�solution R65-1 , suggesting a redistricing of cur
! Congressibnal District and a cQpy of the resolution to be sent
� to each of our Representives and S�nator. Motion carried by
Alderm�n Parker, Uandeventer, Huber, Pirkle , and �enedict voting
�tes with no noes. Resolutibn on file in the affical Ordinance
Book of the City of Grapevine.
A motibn by Alderman Vand�venter, seconded by Alderman Huber to
adcpt and pass R65-2 Resolution ordering an election for April b,
1965 for the place of Mayor, Alderman Place #1 and #2. Motion
carricd by Aldermen �enedict, Pirkle, Huber, Vandeventer and Parker
voting y�s with no naes. Offical Resoulti�n on file in the Ordinance
Books of the Ci ty of Grapevine.
Secretary to have plans and specifications drawQ up on th� pro�osed
Police Station and Water Department building ad,joining the Fire
S�ation.
A moti�n by Ald�rman Pirkle, seconded by �1lderman Benedict to
authvrize the investing of �60,000.00 in U. S. Treasury Bills of
the 'Sinking artd Reserve funds of thc� various bond accounts. Motion
carried by Aldermen Parker, Vandev�lter, Huber, Pirkle and �eaedict
voting yes with no noes.
