present were Mayor Johnson, Aldermen Mathews, Harwell , Kaker, and
�eact�n. Alderman Hayward bei ng $bsent.
The minutes af the previous meetirzgs uras read and approved as read.
White 5eptic Tank Co. , Inc. , 11l��,� Hines Slvd. , �allas, Texas offered
to install the sewer s�stem using 2 - 5�a ga22c�n tank� for Wickes
Lumber Co. , according to the City requirements, far a total price of
��}C}1.0{�. A motiort by Alderman Kaker, secQnded by Alderman Deacon
to hav� White Septic Tank Co. to install the sewer system far the
Wickes Lumber Co. Motiort Carried,
. Secretary to write Freese, Nichols, and Ena�ress, Engineers.;and ask
for a copy af the engineering fees that has been sent to Natkin 8� Ca.
for the engfneering service ori rebuilding the water treatment plant.

resol.utign calling far an election to be h�1d t�n the first Tuesday
in April , same being the 3rd day af April , 1962, for the purpo5e

To The City Council 4f Grapevine :
We, the undersigned, �huuld liks ta see the space in the Civic
Center presentley being used far the teen-cfub remain the same,
and we should appreciate ycaur assistance in augmenting the
, present facilities and obtaining a full-time Director.
Maintaining this club is one way of fulfilling our responsibilities
ta the youth af Grapevine, artd we pladge aur c4operatic�n in this
eff��t.

A resotution presented tothe City by the schc�al asking the City ta
designate the week of March 5 thrc�ugh March 9, 1q62, as public
Schaol Week in the City t�f Grapevine. A motion by Alderman Deacc�n
seconded by Alderman Kaker to pass resolution and return it to the
schflal. Motian carried,

Plans and estir� tes af cost for reworking the frant of the City Ha3I
building and office space was to be gc�tter� for the Ccauncils approval.
The employees +af the Water Department was to be contacted and see if
they wau2d be interest��l :'in cleaning the streets with the swe�aer at
nights after regular warkittg hours and receive extra pay for this '
wor k.
The supplement tax roll of deletions and additions to the original
tax rol ]. was presented to the Ci�y Ccaurtcil. The supp2ement tax rol2
will reduce the 1961 tax roll �86. 89. M�,king the tax roll for 1q61 to
be �b3,�l��#�;�g'. This was approved by a �e�tign by Alderman Kaker, seconded
by Aldermart Mathews. Mot#an carried.
Mr. Higgens is to gravel the streets in the Northside Addit3on after

all the locations where curbing is needed to protect our streets.

Street, Block 9R3L in the Fo�ter Survey, property belonging to
J. N. Cummings, for curbing to protect the streets and ad�ofning

praperty owners. Motion carried.
S�cretary was to cantact Mr. Ted 'Wi 2 2hoite in referer�ce to a price
to be charged for the use of his building for the Library and report
back to lthe cc��zn�i 2.
A° bid was received from Mesco Steel Go. c�n erecting a metal build-
ing on the corner of Main and Texas Streets to be used for a Fire
St�tion , the total bid less the electrical and plumbing work ex-
cludin,� the three drains in the truck room, i�ers �10,4bb.fJO. The
Mayar was to contact Mescc� Steel Co. and se� if any ad,�u�tments
co�ld be made in the price.

praposed Fire Station.
