The City Gaunci 1 met in regu2ar sessic�n on the abQVe dats thase
present were Mayor Woads, �1ldermen Parker , Vandeventer, Huber,
Ptrkle and Benedict,
The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved as read.
Mr. Morse rep� resenting Bentley-Gordan & Associates expiain+�d to
the council how an Hausirtg Authflrity could be farmed to bui2d
lOW-rent houses so as to be rented to senior citiaens of the
community. The Federa2 Government wi22 loan money to build these
homes. The city would be required to run the water and sewer lines
ta the addition and �lso black tog the streets to the addition.
'��' cQ�nci 1 informed IVIr.Morse fi2ey would study the needs of the
housing program apd would contact hirn if they dicide to go inta
this pra,ject.
Mr. Bi 23 Carl son submi.tted his plans t4 bui 2d a 12 unf t apartmertt
housean Lot 5 in Block 33 of the Grapevine Surve� if this lot
cauld be i'6ZOilEt� to the C E� D Ih�rel2ing District. Presently this Iot
is zoned as '�B'� Dwelling. �r« Carlscrn was informed to apply far
a �aning change.
Mr. Wendell Judd, C. P.A. for Parish E� Murrell, Accountants and
, ku�titors af Iaa2las presented the 19b2-b3 audit rega�rt to the �ity
Cauncil.
�� A motic�n by tilderman Pirkle, seconded by Alderman Benedict to
accept the audit report for 2962-63. Motion carried, by Aldermen
Parker, Vandeventer, Huber, Pirkle aqd Benedict voting yes with no noes. _`
A motion by Alderman Pirkle, seconded by Al�erman Huber to zone the

Barking dags and dogs in general was discussed. ;
Three drawing of a Mustang was presented to the council so as to
selr�t the one to be used on the overhead water storage tank when
the tank is repainted and repaired.

A motion by Alderman Pirkle , secanded by Alderman Benedict to give �
Mi ss Ti l lery �5,OC1 as her ctrawing had been se lected to use and to
give the runr�ers up Miss Santos and Miss Sanders �2.50 each. Motion
carried by Alderman Beneddct, Pirkle, Huber, Vatadeventer, and Parker �
