Councilman Eidsori made a motion to employ W. T. Knape as
attorneg to assist in the boundary disgute between Southlake
and Grapevine. Cauncilman Dalton seconded the motian. Mot3.on
prevailed by the following vate;
Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Eidson, Harwell and Parker.
Noes: None
Bill Key, manager of Lucas F`i.�neral Hc�me in Grapevine was present
and informed the Council that effective December l, 1971 Lucas
Funeral Hame wauld no longer pravide ambulance service in Grapevine.
Mr. Key introduced Mr. Tom Schneider and Mr. Buddie Hrable af Mid-
Cities .Ambulance Service wha stated that their company was making
application far a license to operate an emergency ambulance service
in Grapevine, � _
Councilman Parker mad� a mota.on to pass Qrdinance 71-34 on first
reading. Councilman I3alton secanded the mc�tion. Motion prevailed
by the following vote: _ ,
Ayes: Councilmen Dalton, Eidson, Harwell and Parker.

Co��cilman Harwell made a motion to support the county in further
study of salid waste disposal problems. Councilman Parker
seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following vote:

Co�cilman Parker made a motion ta lease some park land from the
Presbyterian Church. Councilman Eid�on seconded the motion.
Motion prevailed by the follawing vote:
Ayes: Cauncilmen Dalton, Eidsan, Harwell and Parker.
Noes: None
The Ci�y Cauncil instructed the City Manager to proceed with
Library plans by Qliver Tucker, artchitect.
The Ci�y Council agreed far the City Manager to select the best�
passible group insurance or wor�nants compensation for the city
employees.
