BY W Q f �- DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT SERVICES CONTACT BUILDING INSPECTIONS FOR PERMIT INFORMATION Historic Preservation Officer's Notes Un-Approved Paint Colors Meeting 815 East Texas Street #CA19-27 16 December 2020 1:30 p.m. HPO David Klempin observed painting crew at 815 East Texas painting trim not -approved color of black. He contacted Ms. Pham to halt all work and requested a meeting for Wednesday December 16, 2020 with attending: Property Owner Amy Pham, Historic Preservation Officer David Klempin and Staff Mary Bush. In the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau, 2"d Floor Grand Hall at 636 South Main Street, Grapevine, Texas Amy Pham of TruBlu Acquisitions owns the property at 815 East Texas Street, legally known as Block 2 Lot 15, D.E. Box Addition, Grapevine, Texas. Ms. Pham said it was a misunderstood incident of the fascia board being painted black as painters were told all trim would be black and did not matter as white gutters would be placed over it. The HPO stated ALL trim was to be white, the only approved black color was for the front door only; and asked her to file these changes on a new Certificate of Appropriateness (#CA) and to present gutters specifications mentioned for approval also. The paint color scheme for the house was approved previously on #CA20-93, on October 16, 2020. Ms. Pham completed #CA20-93(b) requesting: 1) All trim to include soffit, fascia, window trim and front porch column supports to be painted white; 2) the front door only would be painted black; 3) Siding to be Renwick Heather. Fencing: there was no #CA application made for approval of fencing now in place at eight feet high; All metal fence posts must be encased in matching wood with no metal showing. The fencing isnot approved; or permitted. Gutters: were applied for on the above #CA19-93(b), a manufacturer's specification sheet with dimensions and a drawing or photograph attached are required to submit the CA application.
