("AirQuest") is pleased to provide you with the limited interior asbestos survey report for the Amelia's space at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, located at 1501 Gaylord Trail in Grapevine, Texas 76051 ("the site"). The inspection was conducted on May 20, 2014. The results of the sampling and analysis did not identify asbestos containing materials within the samples collected from the site. The materials sampled in this report may be removed or demolished by a General Contractor and disposed of as construction waste. If any materials are encountered during renovation activities that were not sampled in this report, the materials should not be disturbed until they have been sampled and identified as non -asbestos containing materials through laboratory analysis. The purpose of this work was to identify the presence and quantity of asbestos containing materials associated with the space, and assess those materials that may be disturbed during building renovation of the space. Visual observation of the area revealed joint compound with associated sheet rock, yellow floor adhesive, and gray HVAC duct mastic as materials suspected of containing asbestos. Representative samples of the suspect materials were collected in general accordance with Texas DSHS regulations and submitted to LOFLINs Houston laboratory for asbestos analysis. All were analyzed using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) coupled with dispersion staining in accordance with EPA's "Method For The Determination Of Asbestos In Bulk Samples" EPA 6001RIR-931116, July 1993.
