Regular mesting of the Eity Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas, ;
was he2d on September 2, 195$, with the fa22owing members present: '
Mayor Joe D. Clark; �ldermen D. E. Dalton, R. T. Eidson, Norris L.
Graham, Wm. H. Kaker, � R. F. She2ton; Secretary Hugh Mi22ican,
Mlinutes of the preceding meeting were read and appro�red.

intersections:

xlderman Eidson moved that the City approve a contract batween the �
City and First of Texas Corporation for fiscal agents wark in the
forthcoming bond prc►po�als; said cc�ntract shall provide that the �
fee paid sha12 be as follflws:

In the e�ent t�hat the election for bonds shali fai2,
the fee sha11 be none; In the event that First of Texas shall
be able to �egotfate for the purchase of the bonds, the fee
for bonds sha21 be none; In the e�rent that First of Texas shall
be succesful in biddin� for the assessment program work, the
above assessment fee sha2l. be none; x22 fees so quoted sha22
be based upon actual bonds issued.

Alderman Shelton moved that the position of Assistant Fire
Marshal be created and that the position be filled in the same �
manner as that of Fire Marshal and for the same time. The �
motion was seconded by Alderman Eidson and passed by. vote.
P�ayor Clark appointed Harold Lowe as Assistant Fire Marshal
for an indefinite term as provided in Ordinance No. 53-9.
Alderman Shelton moved tha� the appointment be approved and
the motion was seconded by Alderman Eidson and passed hy vote.
Alderman Eidson moved that the appropriation for Schools and
Convention of the Fire Department be amended to be �435•83;

Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
Texas, was held on September 12, 1958, with the following
members present: Mayor Joe, D. Clark; Aldermen D. E. Dalton,
R. T. Eidson, Norris L. Graham, Wm. H. K�ker, � R. F. Shelton;
and Secretar� Hugh Millican.
Alderman Eidson moved the adoption of the following Resoltition:
RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, CALLING AN ELECTION O1V THE
PROPOSITION OF THE I SSUANCE OF �l.4.25,000.00 a�
WATERWORKS IMPROVEMENTS AND EXTENSION REVENUE '
BONDS, AND ON THE PROPOSITION OF THE ISSUANCE
OF �275,000.00 OF STREET IMPROVEMENT TAX BONDS.
Alderman Graham seconded the motion for adoption which was
passed by vote, 5-0, with the Mayor concurring.

Alderman Kaker moved the adoption of the following Ordinance
levying a tax of $1 .50 per �140.00 for the year of 1958:
