Regi�lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine
; was h��d on February 5, 1957 with the following members present:
� Mayor Joe D. Clark; I�lderman M. B. l�.ustin, Joe Box, R. T.
; Eidson, E. M. Pair, & R. F. Shelton; Secretary Hugh Millican.
Minutes of the meeting of January 8, 1957 were read and approved.
' The following bids for truc�, chassis for fire truck were submitted:
Kliff Motor Co. - G, M. C. � 5,300.00
International Harvester, Ft. Worth 3,885.02
International Harvester, Dallas 3,856.31 _
M57-9 Resolution was presented approving the purchase of one I-H R-1856,
212 HP, 175 in. WB Chassis from International Harvester, Dallas,
for a cost of � 3,856.31. Resolution adopted.
Following bids were submitted for tractor, backhoe, and loader:
Mosley Equipment Co. I-H 300 � 5,l�95.00
Leonards Farm Store I-H 300 5,295.00
' Midway Supply I-H 300 4,873.83
Clemons Tractor Ford 850 5, 190.00
Earl Forman Ford 850 5, 112.24
Roach � Atkinson M-H 50 4,950.00
M57-10 Resolution approving the purchase of an International Harvester
Utility Tractor 300 equiped with a Davis 185 backhoe and a Davis
Front End loader from Midway Supply for $ 4,873.83 was approved.
The following resolutions of actions were adopted:

57-11 Be it resolved that approval be given J. N. Cummings to sub-
divide tract 9R3D, of the Foster Survey into two equal lots
and identifing said divided lots as 9R3L1 on the north and
9R3L2 on the south.
�57_12 Be it resolved that the City Council be of record as favoring
the following petition:
° We, the undersigned, do hereby respectfully petition the
Eommissionerts Court of Tarrant County, and all other city a
and County agencies having ,jurisdiction, to cause Ruth Street
in the City of Grapevine to be extended Southward from the
public school grounds to Loop 10 ( Dallas Road) to furnish
a vitally needed traffic outlet for th`e convenience and
safet� of the community. "
M57-1? Be it resolved that a mobile radio be purchased for the Police
Department and that it be installed in the home of the Chief
until such time as it is needed elsewhere .
The following ordinance was adop�ed:
