It"57-�-!-5 Concession agreement for commercial purposes in Si lver Lake
Park between City of Grapevine and Silver Lake Enterprises,
Inc. , was presented for consideration. Lease provides for
a term of 10 years with a 10 year option with payment of
20 of gross revenue for the first `�25,000 .00 and 1� of '
'� the pross revenue in excess of ��25,000 .00 plus installation
� of . certain improvements by the concessionaire for the
rinht to operate certain commercial concessions in the
area.
Alderman F,idson mov2d that the aqreement be approved; Alderman
Kakar seconded the motion which passed.
� 1��57-46 Alderman Eidson moved that "� 50 .00 extra be allowed as pay-
, ment to the two men who attended the Firemants school at
A. 8� M. A�otion seconded by Alderman Kaker and passed .

� R57-7 P.�otion made to approve resolution whereby the City borrows
� "'� 9,000 .00 from the First National Bamk, Grapevine for
! the paym2nt of the balance due on a 75A gallon pumper fire
truck. �;Zotion was made by Alderman. Eidson and seconded by ',
Alderman Dalton and passed.

RESOLUTION NQ. 57-7 ;
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY OF GRAPEVINE �
TO �ORROW NINL THOUSAND 17.OLLARS FOR THE
PAYIUfENT ON A NEW FIRE TRUCK.
WHEREAS, th� pmpul�tion of the City of Grapevin�, T�xas, has
increas�d cQnsid�rable , and, thus incr2asing the amount of
prop�rty within the City Limits of said City, and,
VJHLREA.S, the existing fire fighting apparatus is de2med inadquate
by the State Insuranc� Commission for a City of the size of the
City of Grap�vin�, and ,
`vVHEREAS, to prop�rly protect the said property against loss by
fire and to effect a savings in insurance rates for the citi2ens '
of the said City, it has been deemed n�cessary to purchase ad- .
ditional fire fightino apparatus„and , '
WHEREAS, th� funds for current expenditur�s of the City of Grapevine
are not sufficient to purchase said fire fighting apparatus with-
out borrowing a part of the cost of said apparatus,

Section 2. The T��ayor and City Secretary are hereby authoriZed to 'i
borrow in behalf of the City of Grapevin� an amount of Nine Thou-
sand Dollars (�9 ,000 .00) from the First Nation3l Bank, Grapevine,
Texas, with interest of Six Perc�nt ( 60) ther�on per annum.
Section 3. The loan of � 9,000 .00 and interest thereon shall be
repaid from the General Fund as follows:
On January 5, 1958 °� ?,,000 .00 plus interest on � 9,000.00
On January 5, i959 �n �,000 .00 plus interest on � 6,000.00
