Th� following street requirements for a proposed subdivision �

motion by Alderman Kaker and Second by Alderman Cidsan: j
I) Width of pavement ta bp 32 fe�t. +
2) Curbs shall be conerete with 2 steel rads ( 3�8") , t
. 3� Streets shal2 be with a six inch compacted gravel or �
crushed stone base. r

WHER�'AS, the papu2ation of the City of Grapevina, Texas, has ±
increased considerable, and , thus increasing the amount of '

prap�rty wi�hin the City Limits of said City, �nd ,

WHrP,�.AS, to properly protect the said property ac�ainst loss by E
fire and to effect a savinqs in instzrance casts for the citizens
i of the said City, it has been de�med necessary to purchase ad-
ditional fire fighting apparatus, and,
WHFREAS, the funds for curr�nt expenditur�s Qf the City of
Crrapevine are not sufficient to purchase said apparatus without ;
arranc�ing for part of the costs to be on a deferred p1an,
NOW THEREFORF_ BE IT RESOLV�D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
�RAPEVINE, T�XAS:
Sectian l . - Autharization is hereby given fc�r the acceptance
of one 750-gallon pumper fire truc� with costs as follows: ,
International Harv2ster Co. � 3,8,�6.31 far truck chassis
Peter Pirsch & Son� Co. 8,279.�Q for pumper � equip-
m�nt �
1 J. C. Greener & H. E. Ridin�s 1�q.1�.7 for delivery costs �

Section 2. - Authorization is hereby given for the payment of
the apparatus as follows:
A. Payment to be made from the C3tyrs General Fund far,

2, J.C. Greener � H. E. Ridings i59.�-I-7 �`ar delivery costs.

B. �xe,cution and delivery to Peter Pirsch & Sons, Inc . , a conditional
, � sa.les contract in the total amount of :�8,27p.50 , bearinq
� interest from date at the rate of 6%o per annum and payable as
� �2,279.50 on January 5, 195g� � 3,000 .00 on January 5, 1959; �,
i � 3,000 .00 on Januar,y 5, 1960 , �lus accrued interest on the
' unpaid balance on the above dates. The n.�ayor and City Secre-
, tary are hereby authorized to execute the above contract and
permission is hereby aranted to Peter Pirsch 8 Sons, Inc. ,
to sell said contract to First National Bank of Grapevine ,
Texas, with the �"a.yor and City Secretary hereby authorized
to 2xecute the necessary note and supporting papers to the
said First National Bank of Grapevine , Texas.
' C. The ��ayor and City Secretary are herzby authorized to execute �
' a note anci other pap�rs necessary to borrow :�"720 .�0 from the �
First National Bank of Grapevine, Texas, payable on January j
� 5, 1q58 , p1us accrued interest at the rate of 67 per annum. �
