� � The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Te�as was
' � held on August 2, 1955 with the Yollowing members present: Mayor Joe D. Clark;

E""' Discussion waat held between the Council and other citizens of the area con-
� � cern3.ng recent reports of trouble among teen-agers in and around Grapevine.
' The Mayor �s authorized to appoint a coi��n.i.ttee to work with him to in�estigate
' the situation and to press for the necessary action, if any, to correct any
p►55`S`� problems in this line. This authoriz,ation was contained in a motion by Alderman
'' Eidson and second by Alderman Box which passed by vote. Mayor appointed
A�.derman Eidson; Dan Guest, President of the Chamber of Commerce; G. W. Smith,
' businessman; and Bob Ward, representing the Teen-agers, to assist him.
+� Motion by Alderman Box to set sepaxate meters for the two building owned by
ti� John Francisco and located on Highway 11la.. �.ince both buildings have heen on '
' fiss�js � service through one meter, the additional meter is to set for a charge of
$ 20.00; if receipt is found indicating that this � 20.Q0 has already been
�; paid, then there would be a refund due. Motion seconded by Alderman Eidson
and passed by vote.

as Motion made by Alderman Box that the ordinance be adopted, the motion was
m seconded by Alderman Austin and passed. by vote, l�-0, with the Mayor concuring

Z Myor Clark appointed Gordon Tate as Civi1 Defense Director of the City of I
F-4- Grapevine. Motion by .@�.derman Eidson that the appoi.ntment be approved was

Bids for the enlargement and improvement of the sewage treatment plant were
called for by 2:30 p.m., August 19, 1955 �d contracts to let August 2l�th.
Alderman Eidsan introduced the following ordinance for annexing certain lands
owned by Allen Butane Co. as a result of receivi.ng a proper petition from
said Allen Butane Co.

Motion by Alderman Eidson that the City Secretary be authorized to write a
/�JSS-S7 letter to the Fta,ilroad Commission stating that the City has no objections i
to Allen Butane Company having their storage tanks on the property annexed �
by Ordinance �5-7. Motion was seconded by Alderman Box and passed by vote� �-0.
