Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine was i
held on November 1, 1955 with the following members present: Mayor
Joe Clark; Aldermen M. B. Austin, Joe Box, R. T. Eidson, E. M. �

Minute5 of the meet.ing of October 4, 1955 were approved.

A discussion was held concerning the paving of the streets within ;
Section 'B� , Bellaire Addition. During this discussion, it was �
pointed out that some of the pronerty owners would not agree to `.
an extension of time for paving the streets. Alderman Pair moved i
that November 9, 1955 be set- for beginnirrg the "work and not more ;
than 30 days be allowed for the comp�etion of the work. Also that �
�p�S'�5 a registered letter be sent tio the developer, Mr. W. E. Guest, ��
advising him of this action. Motion was seconded by Alderman Sl�el�on j
which passed by vote, 5-0. �
Following a review of the assessed and the rendered values of the j,
property of the Southwestern States Telephone Companyfs Grapevine '
�SS.�6 Exchange, Alderman Box moved that the assessed value be fixed at
� 66,000.00 ( � 7,21�0.00 for real estate and � 5$,760.00 for per-
sonal property) . Motion was seconded by Alderman Eidson, which passed
by vote, 5-0.

These committees are to investigate and make recommendations on �
items which pertain to their respective titles. The Mayor is to be �
a member of each of}�he committees.
A letter from the Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, containing a ;
draft of a proposed quitclaim deed designed to convey 1.$ acres of ''
land to the City for sewage plant purposes was read and discussed.
The following is an outline of the conditions and/or covenants
contained therein:
1) City is to pay � 157. 50 for the land.
2) Government reserves an easement for overflow & flooding of -
the Reservoir. Also reserves the right to enter the property
for the necessary maintenance and operation of the Reservoir.
y� SS'�g 3 ) Prohibits the errection of any building for human habitation. ;
1�) Prevents errection of any structure not directly a part of
� the �i�yts sewage disposal system without prior written con- i
. .,sent of the Government.
5 ) City shall construct a levy. �
6) Property shall revert to the Government in the event it shall �
eease to be used for disposal purposes.

Alderman Eidson moved that the City Council approve the quitclaim �
deed upon the condition that the word 'Directly' is omitted from �,
covenant number 4. Motion w-.s seconded by Alderman Pair and passed `
