HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 09 - SharepointMEMOTO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL FROM: BRUNO RUMBELOW, CITY MANAGER MEETING DATE: JANUARY 19, 2021 SUBJECT: APPROVAL TO RENEW AN ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR SHAREPOINT MAINTENANCE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider the renewal of an annual contract for Sharepoint maintenance from Entrance Consulting for the Police Department. FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Crime Control District Fund 117 for an annual estimated amount of $32,400. BACKGROUND: This purchase is for the support and maintenance of the Microsoft Sharepoint sites utilized by Police and Fire. The sites are used for sharing important and useful information with department members. This procurement will be made as a sole source purchase in accordance with Local Government Code Chapter 252, Subchapter B, § 252.022. General Exemptions (a)(7)(A). Staff recommends approval. MB/LW
