Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine,
was held August 3 , 1954 with the following members present: j
� Ma�or H. M. Cosnahan; Aldermen Joe Box, Bill Guest , E. M. Pair, !
!� & R. F. Shelton; Secretary Hugh Millican.
Minutes of July 20, 1954 were read and app�oved.
Dedication of certain lands known as Lakewood Acres which had
� been filed on the 14th dap of June, 1954 �s presented f0r final
action. Alderman Guest introduced a resolution approving the re-
MS�''S� strictions on Lakewood Acres, an Addition to the City of Grapevine
Te�s and Dedication thereon and moved its adoption. Motion was
seconded by Alderman Boa and passed by vote, 4.-0,�
Alderman Shelton introduced the following ordinance and moved its
adoption: �
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN THE I
A. F. LEONARD SURVEY, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, TO �
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS.

Motion was seconded try Alderman Pair and passed by vote, 4-0.
Alderman Box introduced the following ordinance and moved its
adoption:
AN ORDINANCE ANNFXING TO THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE THE
HFREINAFTER DESCRIBFD TERRITORY IN THE A. F. LEONARD
AND SAMUEL FREEMAN SURVEYS, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS,
BEING LAKE'vJ00D ACRES AD�DITION AND CONNECTING STREETS,
�.�THICH LIES ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, �AID ANNEXATION BEING THE RESULT OF PE�
TITIONS FILED BY THE O�nINERS AND• RESIDENTS IN THE AREA �
SOUGHT TO BE ANNE%ED; PROVIDING FOR THE INCORPORATION �
OF THE AREA INTO THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE AS A PART
THEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

Motion was seconded by Alderman Guest and passed bp vote, 4-0.
Refunding Contracts for the installation of water facilities to I�
and within the Lakewood Acres Addition providing for the repayment �
of the cost of facilities to the developers weFe presented for �
�rys�l'� consideration. Motion by Alderman Pair and second by Alderman �
Shelton that the City Appro�re the contracts and authorize the Mayor
and City Secretary to sign same giving approval. Motion passed,4-0.
