Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Grapevine was held
� on October 19, 1954 with following members present : Mayor H. M. Cosnahan;
-� Alderman Joe Box, J. J. Daniel, Bill Guest, and E. M. Pair; Secretary
Hugh Millican.
Minutes of the meetings of October 5th and October 15th, were read and
approved.

�S Letter from Mrs. Bill Yancey in appreciation of the errection of traffic

An Ordinance preventing sale, storage and/or firing �of fireworks within ?
the City was presented and read. Alderman Guest moved the adoption of �
,,� the Ordinance and Alderman Box seconded the Motion. Motion receined a C
� �Sa' 2-2 vote. �
Alderman Daniel moved to table final vote on the Ordinance until the next �
regular meeting. Motion was seconded by Alderman Pair and passed by vote
4-0. i
A Re-Dedication of Section ttB", Bellaire Additon which made a minimum �
� square foot requirement of 900 instead of �50 was presented for approval.
m5�►'' Motion by Alderman Daniel and second by Alderman Box that the fte-Didication �
be approved passed by vote, 3-0, (Alderman Guest not voting) . �

' The question of the operation of a new fire alarm system for the Citp was 1,
discussed. No action was taken. '�
Discussion of sidewalks between Main Street and the School resnited in no �
action by the City at this time due to cost of the project.
' 'gAlderman Box moved that a vote be taken at the next meeting concerning the
�I �5�� beginning of a City Plan, meanwhile the utility companies be contacted for
aid in this program. Motion, was seconded and passed by vote.
Motion by Alderman Daniel and second by Alderman Box that the switches at
