AN ORDINANCE RECEN ING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS: PROVIDING THAT TIiE AREA DESCRIBED BELOW,
SHALL BLC()ME A PART OF THE SAID CITY AND THAT'
�, _ THE OZniNERS AND THE I1�IHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE
ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRNILEGES OF OTIiER CITIZENS
OF SAID CITY AND BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES
NOW IId EF�'ECT AND TO BE HEREAFTER ADOPTED: FURTHER
PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING T'I� OFFICIAL
BOUNDARIES OF SAID CITY IiERETOFORE AD�PTED AS
AMENDED CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the ity of Grapevine, Texas, actin� by and under
Section 1.0 of Article: 2 of its Home Rule Charte�� and Articls
9?0a of V. A. T. S. Has de:termined that its b�undaries should '
be enlarged and extended by the annexation of additional
territory described as follow�, to-wit,•
Tracts; of land in Tarrant County, Texas, described a;s follow�:
TRACT 1
Al1 the land not previously annexed by the City of Grapevine
� that is north o f that portion of Wilclwood Drive between North
� ��"� Dooley Street and County Road 3043, sometimes called Ruth Wall
:a
Road; south of that portion of Bushong Road that is between
� North Dooley Street and said County Road 3043; West and South

of that portion of the U. S. Government property line that is
�
� between Wildwood Drive and Bushong Road; and east of that
portion of North Dooley Street that is between Wildwood Drive
and Bushong Road.
TRACT II
All that land that is within the boundaries of the Grapevine
Cemetary known on the County Tax records as Lot 24A, containing
� 7.95 acres and Lot 25 containing 4.45 acres, Leonard Survey,

TRACT III
A tract of land in the W. P. Herring, William K. Payne, Geo.
F. Martin and A. W. Anderson Surveys in Tarrant County, Texas
more fully described as follows : Beginning at the intersection
of the North Right-of-way line of State Highway 121 and the
¢"'�'"' East Right-of-way line of County Road 3043, sometimes called

� Ruth Wall Road; Thence, Northerly along said right of way
line of County Road 3043 to its intersection with the U. S.
Government property line bounding Grapevine Lake; Thence, with
the meanderings of said U. S . Government property line and in
a counterclockwise direction with respect to the boundary of
Grapevine Lake, around Silverlake Branch and eventually
intersecting with the North Right-of-way line of State Highway
121. Thence, Southwesterly along s��d north right-of-way line
of State Highway 121 to the place of beginning.
TRACT IV
A tract of land contiguous to the City limits of the City of
Grapevine in the Thomas Easter and the heirs of A. Foster Surveys,
Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the West Right-of-way line of
5tate Highway No. 114 and the North Right-of-way line of the
St. Louis & Southwestern Railroad Right-of-way line, in the
Heirs of A. Foster Survey; Thence, Southwesterly along the said
North Right-of-way line of the St . Louis & Southwestern Rail-
road to an iron that is South 58 degrees and 58 minutes West,
1350.3 feet from the intersection of the common line between
the Thomas Easter Survey and the Heirs oF A. Foster Survey at
'"'�' its intersection with the said North Right-of-way line of the
�+ St . Louis & Southwestern Railroad; Thence, North 2� 34' West,
1210.2 feet to an iron for a corner; Thence, North 87°30'
East, 445.9 feet to an iron for a corner ; Thence North 00° 12'
East 1515.3 feet to an iron for a corner ; Thence, North 89°
40' East, 938.9 feet to the West right-of-way line of State
Highway 114 as it passes through the Heirs of A. Foster Survey
in a Northwesterly direction; Thence, Southwesterly along
said Right-of-way line of State Highway 114 to the place of
beginning. Save and except property in said tract previously
p� annexed by Ordinance 66-28.

of the extraterritorial �ur3.sdiction of said City of Grapevine�
Texa�,; and,
WHEREAS, after considering the annexation of the above described
territory, and City C,ounc3.1 of said City of Grapevine, Texs�
has unanimously voted to annex said tract to said City of
Grapevine, Texas, and,
.� - WHEREAS, all legal requirements for the annexation of each said
tract�, includin� publication and public hearing, have been
hereto fore duly, timely, and properl.y performed and don�� and,

4JHEREAS, it is for the public welfare, and for and to t he advan-
tage, general welfare, and benefit bf the G�ity of Grapevine, Texas
and of and for each said tract, that same: be now annexed to t he
Gity of Grapevine,, Texa.�:
NOt�J THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAI NED BY THE C ITY C OU NC IL OF THE G ITY
OF GRAP�TINE, TEXAS:
That the tracts of la nd, as above described, be and the same ar�
hereby annexed to the City of Grapevine, in Tarrant County,
Texas, be and the same are hereby extended to include the above
described tracts� of land �n. thin the Cit9 limits of the City of
Grapevine, Texa�, a municipal corporation, and said tracts of
land, and the future inhabitants thereoF shall hereafter be.
entitled to rights and pr ivileges of other citi�ens of the
City of Grapevine, Texas and, they shall be hereafter bound by
the acts and Ordinances of said City.
That if any cl:ause, phrase, sentence, paragraph, or section of
this ordinance shall be held void or unconstitutional for any
� , reason,, same shall not effect the other parts of thia ordinance.
