"A" RESIDENTIAL TO "J & K" INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
`,�HEREAS, due and laurful notice of hearing to consider
a zoning chanye on �he below described pxoperty has been hereto-
fore given; and,
WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of the City of
Grapevine, Texas, has on the 7th day of January , �96 9,
recammended a char�ge of the zoning classification of the below
described property, so that the entirety thereof shall be here-
"�"�� after a part of the "J & K" Industrial Districts of the City
�=s� of Grapevine, Texas;

I.
That the below described vroperty be and the same
is Hereby an� ��renow Designated and Classified as a part of
"J & K" Indust�ial District of the City of Grapev�ne, Texas,
a�d the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Grap�vine, Texas, and
the Use District l�iap attached to such Ordinance is now sd
�:�anged and amended :
� w All that certain �ot, tract or parcel of land lyirig
and being situated in Taxrant County, Texas, out of the C. C.
Hope Survey� mor� particularly �escribed as follows:
Tract 1
BEGINNING at a rock in the North line of C. C. Hope Settlers
Claim survey of 160 acres 237 varas west of the N. E. corner
of said survey; Thence South 950 varas to a rock in the S.
line of said C. C. Hope and N. line of J. C. Owens 160 acre
survey; Thence East 237 varas passing the S. E. corner of
the C. C. Hope survey and the S. W. corner of H. S. Hope
survey in all 778 varas to the N. E. corner of J. C. Owens
survey a rock in the South line of said H. S. Hope survey;
Thence North 950 varas to a rock in the N. line of said
survey; Thence West 541 , varas passing th e N. W. corner
of the H. S. Hope and the N. E. corner of the C. C. Hope
survey in all 778 varas to the beginning, containing 131
acres of land more or less 40 acres more or less of which
is of the C. C. Hope survey and patented to Joel M.
Simpson as Assn. , on the 9th day of May A.D. , 1860 and
91 acres more or less of the H. S. Hope survey, and
patented to Joel M. Simpson as Assn. on the 2nd day of
September, A.D. , 1859.
This being the same property that was conveyed to R. E.
Morrow by C. B. PHILLIPS, Et al by Deed dated February
21st, 1924 which deed is recorded in Book 806, page 479,
Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas to which deed and the
record thereof reference is here made.
Tract 2
Lying and being situated in Dallas and Tarrant Counties,
Te�as, and being described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING
at a rock in bois d'arc hedge, the same being the NW corner
of 134 1/3 acre tract, being a tract conveyed by J. M.
Simpson and Anna E. Simpson, to H. F. Saunders on the 25th
day of January 1881 and shown by the record thereof in Block
26, page 9, Records of Deeds for Tarrant County, Texas, said
beginning point of the tract herein conveyed also 40 varas
E. and 398 varas N. of NE corner of the J. C. Owens survey;
Thence North 552 varas to a rock in the North line of said
H. S. Hope survey; THENCE East 406 varas passing the N.E.
corner of said Hope survey at 617 varas passing the SE corner
of the W. M. Russell survey in all 710 varas; Thence S 4
deg. W. 496 varas to a rock the same being the N.E. corner
of said 134 1/3 acre tract conveyed to said H. F. Saunders;
Thence S. 85z deg. West 710 varas to the place of beginning,
containing 65 2/3 acres of land more or less, 39 1/3 acres
more or less out of the H. S. Hope survey and 26 1/3 acre
more or less out of the S.C.T. Ford survey and being the
same land than was conveyed to R. E. Morrow by the Great
Southern Life Insurance Comp any by deed dated March 9th,
1935 which deed is recorded in Book 1896, page 321, Deed
Records Dallas County, Texas, and Book 1248, page 166-7
Deed Records Tarrant County, Texas to which deed and the
records thereof reference is here ma de.
II.
It being for the public welfare that this Ordinance
��#� be passed and such zonin� changg he made, there exists an
�� emergency an� rublic necc�ssi�y that the rule xequiring th$s
Ordinance to be read on two s�vexal occasions be and the same
is hereby Waived and this Ordinance shall now be placed on
its second and final reading to its paseage, and shaXl be in
fu1Z fo.rce and effect from and after its passage and ap�roval.
