Tate, Councilmen J. Hemley, J. Daniel, R. F. Shelton, S. hT. Payne, & Bill Yancey. Motion made by John Hemley and seconded by H. F. Shelton that � vote be taken to determine the question of an audit. � Vote was call�d and results were 5 against having the audit and'.,., � none for the measure . . Talotion made by S. NT. Payne and Seconded by Bill Yancey that should a water bill not be paid by the lOth of the month, service will be discontinued with the only exception to this would be that bill of T. C. Carney Barber Shop. Motion passed by vote of 5 to 0. Discussion of proposition that the State Highway DepaL•tment put up a signal light system at the intersection of State Highways 121 & 111� with the City to pay 1/2 of the cost of the instal�ation plus all operating costs. I�iotion by J. J. Daniel and seconded by S. M. Payne that the City accept the offer under these terms. I�Zotion passed 5-0. The subject of the air conditionin� unit for the City Hall was left to final passage until later. � T4Tayor Tate along with T�7r.
