At special meeting of the City Council held at the City Hall !
- on June 11 1951 the following Councilmen were present S. M. �
Payne, Bil�. Yancey, &� J. J. Daniel and Mapor Tate.
� Bids for proposed sewer extension work were opened as stated. �
Bids were submitted by Four companies as follotias: !

Motion made by Bill Yancey and seconded by J. J. Daniel that the �
work be awarded to Herman Holtzer of Ft. Worth, Texas, subject ;
to favorable report of The Engineers and the securing of all �
right of ways. i
Motion Carried 3-0 (only 3 councilmen present) ,
For clarification of a motion concer3�ing past due water biils 'I
passed June $, 1951� it was revised to read thus: The water ,
service is to be discontinued if the amount of the bill equals. '�
or exceeds the amount of deposit and if this bill is not paid '
by the lOth of the month. '

men Shelton, Payne, Daniel, and Guest D. E. Box, �floyd Deacon �
W. E. Guest present, a discussion of the City water supply was
held.
Motion was made $��t�- by J. J. Daniel and seconded by S. M. Payne
th�t the council proceed to secure water rights from the Grapevine
F,ake through the U. S. Engineers at a cost of ;� 25�000.00 for
1-�6(�88 acre feet of water.
