ORDINANCE N0. 66-20
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 64-5 , SO AS TO
PROVIDE FOR TRAILER COACH SERVICE AND INSPECTION FEE,
PROVIDING FOR VIOLATION THEREOF TO BE UNLAWFUL , AND
�°� DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :

Whereas , Ordinance No . 64-5 was passed and approved by the
City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas on April 21 , 1964 , and, _
Whereas , said City Council desires to amend said ordinance so
that it will have a Section V-A, which shall read as follows :
"Section V-A. TRAILER COACH SERVICE AND INSPECTION FEE
(a) Service and Inspection Fee .
A service and inspect,ion fee of $1 . 00 per month, or
fractional part thereof, is hereby imposed on all
trailer coaches , provided, however, no fee is imposed
on transient trailer coaches remaining in the city
not more than three days . o
(b) Occupancy of Trailer Coach Prohibited Where Fee Not Paid.
It shall be unlawful for any person to reside in or other-
wise occupy a trailer coach on which the service and in-
spection fee has not been paid.
.�� (c) Collection of Fees - Trailers in Parks .
The licensee of each trailer coach park shall make demand
upon and collect from the occupants of each trailer coach
, �r in his park the service and inspection fee imposed by this
Section. Such licensee shall pay the amounts so collected
by him to the City Secretary within ten days after the
expiration of each calendar month. Such licensee shall
be furnished by the City with printed receipt forms in
� auadruplicate , which shall be filled out by the licensee
showing the name of the person making the payment , the
make , model , length and license number of the trailer coach,
the amount paid, and also the period of time for which
such payment is made . The original receipt shall be de-
livered to the person making the payment , and two copies
shall be delivered to the City Secretary, and the licensee
shall keep the remaining copy.
(d) Notice of Trailer Coaches Where Fee Not Paid.

park to notify the City Secretary, or some other person
desianated by him, of each trailer coach in his park on
which the service and inspection fee is unpaid, giving the
make, model , length and license number of the trailer coach,
and the names of each resident or occupant thereof. Such
�°a�• notice shall be given within one week following the date
of such delinc{uency.
�� (e) Bond. -
At t�e licensee ' s expense, the City Secretary shall cause
each licensee of a trailer coach park to be bonded with a
fidelity bond in the penal sum of one thousand dollars .
Such bond shall be in a form approved by the City Attorney,
with a corporate surety licensed to do business in the
State of Texas , and shall indemnify the City against the
loss of any and all amounts collected by such licensee under
the provis�ons of this Section.

It being necessary for the public welfare that this amendment
amending th� ordinance regulating trailer coach parking in
trailer parks be nrnv passed, creates an emergency and public
necessity that the rule requiring this ordinance to be read on
two severai occasio�s be waived, and this ordinance shall accord-
��"" i�gly, be now passed on its second and final reading to its passage
' and the same shall be in full force and effect frorn and after its

passage and approval.
