ITEM 1- Summary of Golf Course Operations 4th Otr. and discussion (Robert Singletary
& Russell Pulley)
Robert & Russell shared the 4th Qtr Golf Operations Summary report. Highlights were another
good quarter with golf rounds and revenues up over prior year. Merchandise and Range revenue
were slightly lower to prior year. Range is taking a beating with increased use and loss of tee turf
space. Lower range revenue due to lights and night range operations being closed since April
202 due to Covid procedures and clubhouse construction. Bryan asked about future range plans.
Russell replied that we are working on master plan for entire practice area and hope to get some
items done in next Fiscal year.
ITEM 2 — Clubhouse Proiect update (Russell Pulley)
Robert showed pictures via projector of the current progress of the new clubhouse and explained
layout and flow. April to May 2021 is current estimated timeline for completion. Would like to
provide a tour for GA during April meeting. Russel and Robert glad to provide a walk through
for 1-2 Advisory Board members on a request basis.
ITEM 3 Water Line Proiect
Merlin reported that the water line project is almost completed. Pecan area is complete and sod
has been installed. Bluebonnet area should be completed by end of January.
IITM 4 Instructional Program Update (Jr. Academy, PGA Jr. League. Get Golf Readv)
(Robert Singletarv) Robert reported that PGA Junior league for 2021 is planned, but we are not
sure if Grapevine will participate due to conflicts. The JR academy has started and Eric has 8
students. The 2021 Get Golf Ready Programs will start in March.
ITEM 5- Golf Course Maintenance Report (Merlin Tielkemeier)
Merlin reported that normal winter projects are under way. I.E. Tree trimming, drainage work,
and irrigation head replacement and adjustments, etc. Gary Davis asked about big tree on #6 tee
Pecan any plans to trim as it blocks tee shots. Merlin said he would address ASAP. Merlin
shared status of Audubon for golf course. We are in final stage have final study to complete.
Ronnie Hatley offered to assist via GGA if needed. Bryan asked about cart path repair needed
on # 9 Mockingbird. Merlin said he was aware ad there are other areas that need repair as well.
