Special meeting of the City Council of the Citp of Grapevine �ras
held on May 13, 1953 with the following members present: Mayor '
H. �M. Cosnahan; Alderr�en Joe Box, J. J. Daniel, Bill Guest, & B. ;

� Alderrnen Daniel introduced a resolution and moved its adoption. ;�
The motion was seconded bp Alderman Guest and passed by vote of
4 peas and 0 noes. ( Yeas- Box, Daniel, Gues�, & Pair) . �

Regular meeting of theCity Council of the City of Grapevine was
held on May 19, 1953 With the following members present: Agayor a
H. M. Cosnahan; Aldermen Joe Box, J. J. Daniel, Bill Gu�st, �

E. M. Pair, & R. F. Shelton; Secretary Hugh Milliean.
Minutes of the preeceeding meetings were read and approved. �
Motion bp Shelton that the City allow � 150.00 towards the expenses �
of the City Secretary in attending the Municipal Finance Officiers
Association annual meeting, seconded by Joe Box and passed by vote.
Motion bpDaniel that the contract for water and sewer extensions
within the Section1BT of the Bellaire Addition be let by the Citp
with the prior approval oftthe owners of the Addition but money
for this con�ract is to be placed in the hands of the of the Citp
by the owners prior to the letting of any contracts, seconded
and passed by vote. a
Ordinance No. s�-iowas introduced and Qoved for adoption by Box and �
motion was seconded by Daniel and was passed by vote of 5-0. '

PAYNfENTS OF SAID TAg, INTEREST AND PENALTIES FOR DELIIVQUENT �
PAYMENTS OF SAID TAX, AND REPEALING CERTAIN ORDINANCE N0. 53-3• '
� Motion by Box that the 1953 tax roll be set at approximately

Requested bp the Council that a demonstration of an Addressograph
machine be given at the next meeting.
