Licensed Electrical Sign Contractor or a State Licensed Master Electrician. Signs may also be constructed by a fabricator
approved by a Nationally Recognized Testing Agency and labeled accordingly**

REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS:
1. A separate permit and 2 sets of drawings are required for each sign. For wall signs a separate permit application and plans
may be submitted for each elevation. A minimum of 11 x 17 drawings must be submitted. All drawings must be legible.
2. Pole or ground signs require a site plan drawn to scale showing location of the sign.. Pole sign structural drawings must be
sealed by a State of Texas Registered Professional Engineer. Monument and Ground sign applications must include footing
detail.
3. Show dimensions and distances to property lines. (Place asterisk on property line with line to sign location).
4. Detailed, dimensioned plans of sign showing graphics. Dimensioned full length building elevation showing sign or signs on
building. Show dimensions of height & width of tenant space and or building.
5. Plan Review Fee, 65% of the permit fee is required when permit application is submitted. Balance due upon approval.

This letter confirms on September 30, 2019 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA19-96 for the property addressed 120 South Main Street, legally
described as Block A, Lot Al, Starr Addition, City of Grapevine to the Grapevine Historic
Preservation Ordinance 91-73 (Appendix G — Grapevine Code of Ordinances), as
amended, for the following:
1. Wood sandwich chalk board outdoor sign: 2' wide by 3' high;
Note: The sandwich board outdoor sign may be placed within 3' of existing front
wall, as provided by Ordinance;
as per the attached photo with the condition a permit is obtained from the building
department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is I is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 911.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
