2.5 feet from the existing residential sfab -on =grade fri l,#9p ��rig-the following
procedure and limitations:
Excavate to pool depth specified below grade, plus gunite shell thickness. Avoid over -
excavation and remove all loose material from the excavation prior to placing reinforcing
steel and gunite.
Do not undermine nearby foundations, patio slabs and retaining walls with the pool
excavation. Excavations within 1V to 4H measured from the bottom of the nearby
structural foundation or slab shall not be left unprotected for more than three days.
Excavations shall not be constructed if rain is forecast.
The contractor shall be responsible for construction means, methods, techniques,
sequence and procedures. The contractor is also responsible for site safety and
personnel protection during the project construction.
