held on July 23rd, 1943, with the folloviring present: B, R. "Wall
Meyor presiding and Boone Lipscomb, D. E, Austin,
C. M. Millican and H. C. Yancey, aldermen.
The minutes of last regular meeting read and approved.
The following bills were read, allowed and ordered paid:
Motion duly seconded unanimously carried to increase the
salary of 4ater Superintendent W. J. Henderson from $85..00
per month to $100.00 per month effective July ist, 1943.
Vac4-tion pay to remain in force and on the same basis of
pays as the regular monthly salary.
Motion duly seconded unanimously carried to make a trade
with Mr. F. E. Rodgers for City dumping ground and AllermOn
Idpecomb and A�derman Austin were appointed as a committee to
complete the trade.
motion and second unanimous2y carried to investigate as to
a drying rack for fire hose and report back at next regular
meeting. Alderman Millican and Alderman Lipscomb appointed as
a coapittee to make the investigation.
Lotion and second unanimously carried to grant J. W. Berry
at Webb City, a permit to use city watpr. T4-e city not to be

ular size meter vihich is a 1 inch meter. If larger meter is need
Mr. Berry to furnish same at.his own expense. Rates to be charge
the minimum of $1.75 for two thousand gallons for each connectio
used in either business or residence and the regular water rate
after the mimimum.
