CALL TO ORDER
CITIZEN COMMENTS
1. Any person who is not scheduled on the agenda may address the Animal Shelter
Advisory Committee under Citizen Comments or on any other agenda item by
completing a Citizen Appearance Request form with the Committee Secretary. A
member of the public may address the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee regarding an
item on the agenda either before or during the Board's consideration of the item, upon
being recognized by the Chairperson or upon the consent of the Committee. In
accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee
is restricted in discussing or taking action during Citizen Comments.
NEW BUSINESS
2. Consider the minutes of the December 9, 2020 Animal Shelter Advisory Committee
meeting.
3. Staff and volunteer updates.
4. Shelter building updates.
5. Upcoming events for 2021.

March, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Grapevine Animal Services, 500 Shady Brook Dr., Grapevine,Texas 76051,with the
following members presentto-wit:
Larry Hallmark Chair,Grapevine Police Department
Joy Mayo Member,Grapevine Citizen
Sherri Olsen Member,Grapevine Citizen
Corey Price Member,Animal Welfare Representative
Nancy Snyder Member,Grapevine Citizen

constituting a quorum,with members Tannetje'Crocker absent and the following liaison present:

Larry Hallmark called the meeting to order at 1:37 p.m.

ITEM 2.STAFF AND VOLUNTEER UPDATES
Update given to committee. Joy Mayo,Lydia Blake,and Larry Hallmarkgave information about volunteer program.
No action was taken by the Comm ittee.
ITEM 3.SHELTER BUILDING UPDATES
Shelterto open on April 19. Update given to comm ittee.
No action was taken by the Comm ittee.
ITEM 4.UPCOMING EVENTS
June,September,Decembervaccine clinics.
No action was taken by the Comm ittee.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Committee,Sherri Olsen offered a motion to adjourn the meeting
at 2:11 p.m.and Nancy Snyder seconded. Motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Hallmark,Mayo,Olsen,Price,Snyder,Valentine
Nays: None
Absent: Crocker
