Home My WebLink About1978-08-08STATE OF TEXAS x COUNTY OF TARRANT X CITY OF GRAPEVINE X The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine met in regular session on this the 8th day of August, 1978 with the following members present to-wit: Ted Ware Chairman Jerry Burgess Member Bob Stewart Member Dwayne Rodgers Member constituting a quorum with Bill VanDeventer, Acting Secretary. The first order of business was for the Planning & Zoning Commission to consider Zoning Application Z78-13 (submitted by Gus M. Kelly) and make a recommendation to the City Council. Member Bob Stewart made a motion to approve the application. The motion was seconded by Member Jerry Burgess and prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Ware, Burgess, Stewart, & Rodgers Nays: None The second order of business was for the Planning & Zoning Commission to consider Zoning Application Z78-14 (submitted by Jerry MCClelland) and make a recommendation to the City Council. A motion to approve the application was made by Member Jerry Burgess. The motion was seconded by Member Bob Stewart and prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Burgess, Stewart, Ware, & Rodgers Nays: None The third order of business was for the Planning and Zoning Commission ro consider Zoning Application Z78-15 (submitted by Leon Harwell) and make a recommendation to the City Council. After some discussion, Member Bob Stewart made the motion to approve the application and to recommend to the City Council that they give consideration to traffic control in that area. The motion was seconded by Member Jerry Burgess and was prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Burgess, Ware & Stewart Nays: Rodgers The forth order of business was for the Planning and Zoning Commission to consider Zoning Application Z78-16 (submitted by Jim Hodges and Kendell Hill) and make a recommendation to the City Council. Member Jerry Burgess made a motion to approve the application. The motion was seconded by Member Dwayne Rodgers and was prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Rodgers, Stewart, Burgess, & Ware Nays: None Page 2 A motion was made by Member Dwayne Rodgers to approve the minutes of the previous meetings as read. The motion was seconded by Member Bob Stewart. The motion was carried. A motion was made and seconded to adjourn and all in attendance voted aye, 4 PASSED AND APPROVED on this the 14? V--day of 1978.
