HomeMy WebLinkAbout1978-09-19STATE OF TEXAS X COUNTY OF TARRANT X CITY OF GRAPEVINE X The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine met in regular session on this the 19th day of September, 1978 with the following members present to-wit: Ted Ware Duane Rogers Robert Sands Bob Stewart Jerry Burgess Harlen Joyce Chairman Member Member Member Member Member constituting a quorum with Frank E. Smith, Acting Secretary. The first order of business was for the Planning & Zoning commission to hear zoning application Z78-17 submitted by W. N. "Bill" Ratcliff. In public hearing the commission heard the proposal and discussion by the several residents from that immediate area. The proposal was accepted with the exclusion of the south portion 3131 fronting on W. Wall St. and 1501 set back left as R-1. This is the recommendation. Motion was made by Bob Stewart to approve the application. Robert Sands seconded the motion and prevailed by the following vote. Ayes: Ware, Rogers, Sands, Stewart, Burgess and Joyce Nays: None The second order was to consider zoning change application Z78-18 on behalf of the Mary Louise Chastant Estate to C-2. There was no further discussion. The motion for approval was made by Robert Sands. Jerry Burgess seconded the motion and the following vote prevailed. Ayes: Joyce, Burgess, Stewart, Sands, Rogers, and Ware Nays: None The third order of business was to consider proposal Z78-19 submitted by J. K. Buckner on behalf of Lucas Funeral Home. There was no further discussion and motion to recommend approval was made by Harlen Joyce and seconded by Jerry Burgess and prevailed by the following vote. Ayes: Sands, Stewart, Burgess, Joyce, Ware and Rogers Nays: None Minutes of the previous meeting was approved as read from August 15, 1978. Just prior to adjournment, the preliminary plat for Phase I & II of the Timberline Estate was presented for approval. The motion was made by Bob Stewart to approve the preliminary plat, and this motion was seconded by Harlen Joyce. There will be an additional report from the Timberline Estates Consulting Engineer, concerning the drainage and 100 yard flood plan. The following vote prevailed. Ayes: Stewart, Burgess, Joyce, Ware, Rogers and Sands Nays: None Motion was made by Duane Rogers and seconded by Harlen Joyce to adjourn. All in attendance voted Aye.
