CITY OF GRAPEVINE X
The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine, Texas,
convened in special meeting at 7:45 P.M., on this the 25th day of
February, 1975, with the following members present, to-wit:
Ted Ware
Harlen Joyce
Jerry Jordan
Joe S. Kennedy
Don Stiles
Conrad Heede
constituting a quorum, with

This meeting was a continuation of a joint meeting with the City
Council. After the Public Hearing on zoning application Z-75-3
was closed, the City Council recessed to the Conference Room. The
Planning & Zoning Commission remained in the Council Chambers to
consider further business.

The next order of business was to consider zoning application
Z-75-3 - Donald Davies, Bishop of the Diocese of Dallas of the
Protestant Episcopal Church, requesting a zoning change from R-1
to R-3 Multi-Family Ues District, on a tract of land described
as: being Tract 5A-1, Abstract 1593 of the Whitman Survey. The
owner of the property is the Protestant Episcopal Church. This is
located on the south side of Kimball Road between Chris Craft
Drive and Red Bird Lane. Member Conrad Heede made a motion to
disapprove the zoning request because of the large numbers of
persons speaking against the zoning application. Member Harlen
Joyce seconded the motion and the motion prevailed by the
following vote:
Ayes: Ware, Joyce, Jordan, Kennedy, Stiles, Heede
Noes: None
The next order of business was to discuss zoning ordinance 70-10.
It was stated that this item be tabled to the March 4th meeting.
There being no further business, Member Heede made a motion to
adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Member Kennedy
and all present voted aye. The meeting was adjourned.
