HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-02-04STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in a Workshop Session on this the 4th day of February, 1982 with the following persons present to -wit; Sharron Spencer Ron Cook Harold Anderson Ann Glynn Harlen Joyce Gerald Norman Chairman Vice- Chairman Member Member Member Member constituting a quorum with Member Klee Hawkins absent and the following members of the City Staff also present: J. R. Baddaker City Engineer Marc Guy City Planner Tom Hardy City BUilding Official CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sharron Spencer. WORKSHOP DISCUSSION Planning and Zoning Commission by -laws: Additional changes in the draft of the Planning and Zoning Commission by -laws were discussed. The Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss the draft of their by -laws again at a future meeting. Draft of New Zoning Ordinance Districts: The following districts were discussed and it was decided to keep them as part of the New Zoning Ordinance: R - MH Mobile Home District R - Mod. H. Modular Home District Changes in the regulations of this district include: #C -6, P. 25, 6,000 square feet to 7,500 square feet. Add #E -3 requiring a site plan permit be issued on the same form as a building permit. P -O Professional Office District C -C Community Commercial District C -OU Commercial Outdoor District r C -W Commercial Warehouse District M -FW Freeway District ML - Light Industrial District I.P.A.R. Industrial Park - Airport Related S -P Site Plan District PUD Planned Unit Development The following sections were also discussed and it was decided to keep them as part of the New Zoning Ordinance: Section 28 - Railroad Rights - of - Way and Tracks i Section 29 _ Temporary Use It was decidei that the City Council will determine what temporary uses will be permitted. Number B will read "A temporary uses shall not be permitted nearer than 250 feet to a developed single - family residential lot unless adjusted by City Council ". #A -7 Change 250 feet to 1,000 feet. Section 30 Sale of Alcoholic Beverages Section 31 Screening and landscaping: The City Staff suggested that screening should be included in the various zoning districts. Section 32 Performance Standards Section 33 Off Street Parking Requirements Section 34 Off Street Loading Requirements Section 35 Parking and Loading Area Development Standards Section 36 Accessory Buildings Section 37 Corner Lots Section 38 Height Limit Section 39 Required Yards Section 40 Projections into Required Yards Section 41 Right -of -way and Easement Dedication Requirements Section 42 Certificate of Occupancy and Compliance Section 43 Non - Conforming Uses Section 44 Completion of Existing Building Section 45 Existing Zoning Regulation Designations and Changes #A. Change City Secretary to City Planner. Sections 46 through 48 are also to be included in the New Zoning Ordinance The Planning and Zoning Commission will meet in a workshop session, Thursday, February 11, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to discuss the Planning and Zoning Commission, Chairman Sharron Spencer adjourned the meeting.
